@@DollarTaco yeah, I had the same moment. I'm just wondering if KZread policies allow anyone to fake any part of their user interface. In this case its a clever bit but I've seen sketchy channels do the same thing (half filled red bar) probably in an attempt to get more views. Kinda similar to those idiots naming themselves "20.7M views", I think they get banned pretty quickly.

Hey all you loopers out there, this must be an early cycle for you to be trying to find information on the internet about how to escape, while I don't have an answer for you, I do have some helpful tips to make your re-run a little more bearable while you figure it out: 1. If you don't have too, don't stay in the same place. Too many loopers find out far too late that while you do have to live the same day or moments over again, you can have a different experience by catching an early morning plane to a place you've never re-lived before, just avoid booking something too ambitious, wouldn't want to waste 13 hours of your day sitting on a plane only to nod off and end up back home. 2. Try not to do too many killing sprees. Imagine your out murdering your co-workers, or ex's, or just going for the record at the local mall with only melee this time to make it harder, and after your night in prison you wake up there the next day. You may not be the reason there is a loop, and extreme crimes can range from life ruining- to life ending if you die in the shoot out, so try not to throw too many babies off the bridge that lady walks on with the stroller every morning at 0843 in her pink and black yoga pants... or you could be all over the news tomorrow. 3.Go out to eat. Seems silly, but far too many just grab what they have at home to allow more time to find answers, before you know it, you've had microwave mac and cheese exclusively for 100 days, don't eat at home, don't even eat at the same place twice, besides what a perfect day to eat like there's no tomorrow get extra, break diet, eat the allergy item. 4. Use your time like you'll eventually get free. If you were in prison, and you never used the time to read or get an education or even work out, it would be a waste of time, so why waste time in the loop? While you can't accumulate items, or even muscle mass you can hone your mind, learn as much as you can about a new skill, you could learn to code if you have enough loops and access to internet. Maybe you could call up someone you have the hots for and practice asking them out as many times as you loop eventually becoming clinical with your words creating false interest in you as your disingenuous prop of a personality tricks that innocent person into giving you a chance to continue to lie to them in person. Who knows when you'll get out and by then you could learn every weakness they have, you could know exactly how to manipulate their emotions. 5. Don't bother with casinos or lotteries. You have something better that games of chance, you have exact knowledge, go to the same horserace twice, or dog fight and bet your life savings. You'll have all that money right there to use during the loop if you do this early enough and can fund more exotic or difficult to arrange experiences. Besides, you never know if it's the last time, sure wouldn't hurt to get out with a nice nest egg.

One I'd like to add is episode 10 of the anime Space Dandy (spoilers btw) The characters are so dense they don't realize they're in a loop until over 100 iterations in, at which point they realize they can predict what happens next and assume they have prophetic powers. The narrator has to step in to tell them they're idiots and that it's a time loop. It turns out the loop is caused by an evil calendar that refuses to turn its page to the next date. They break the loop by prying the calendar open with power tools. It's incredible.

You should read/listen to the audiobook of (highly recommend over reading) The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August, it is the best loop fiction I've ever encountered. It's about a guy who after he dies of old age is reborn as himself as a baby every single time. Incredibly good. Also Rewind is a similar story from the 80s from a different author. Had to read it after finishing TFFLoHA because I was craving more of that same premise. I would say it isn't AS good. But still fantastically good

I wish you had mentioned the time loop episode from season 5 of The Magicians! The one with the whales. There's much introspection about time, and about loops. And time loops, too.

The take on the time loop for this video is super interesting, because it has the potential for a simultaneously good and bad ending. When your mind slips between dimensions, "you" are continuing the loop, as in your mind is experiencing it in a sequential order. However, the body that you left wakes up and continues as normal, so with every single complete loop there IS a version of you that you just left that gets their good ending, that gets to end the time loop. But then there's the issue that "you" yourself are stuck in the loop consciously, your mind is stuck, and you seemingly have no way of leaving the loop to your knowledge. So while all the other versions of you are freed one-by-one, there is exactly 1 version of you stuck eternally. That's wild.

Going through and actually leaving comments on these vids I've watched and liking them, the algorithm needs to get it's shit together and show this channel to more people. I laugh out loud multiple times in every video, I love your humour. Also first Runecape music now FTL? Damn son nice taste. Also speaking of games and time loops this video really makes me think of Outer Wilds but I'm sure there's already been 50 comments mentioning that one already

one of my favorite time loops in media would probably be a game called Oxenfree where a bunch of teens go to an island and get unknowingly trapped in a time loop, the second time you play through the game is very different from your first so it feels more like a continuation than a reset and I think that was one of the coolest revelations I've had while replaying a game
