They still got it!! I saw them in June at 2 sold out arenas 15k+ people all ages jammin & dancing to my favorite band. Ah such a proud Duranie ❤❤
Just saw Duran Duran in concert recently and they are still awesome live!
I’m glad the younger generation enjoy listening to Duran Duran now. I was born in 1995 and grew up listening to Duran Duran and then when I got abit older I listened to rock music and then at 11 became obsessed with Duran Duran and saw them twice in almost one week when I was 12. I’m now 28 and they’re still my favourite band.
I've caught them live on tour several times. They NEVER dissapoint no matter the age.Fabulous musicianship, great sound and Simon is an explosive performer and entertainer!
Thank you, sincerely, for your continued reactions to Duran Duran, Kate Bush, N'Sync, etc. It's so lovely to see a younger person react to music I listened to growing up. You're wonderful.

Thank you!
John's basslines always stand out in their performances, especially Nightboat!
I have been lucky enough to see them 11 times so far just this year in 4 different countries with 10 more to go this tour and you can never get enough Duran Duran live! Music is my drug and Duran Duran is my dealer! 😁🔥🙌 and what hot dealers they are! Was excited to see you do more DD 😍 keep them coming! Loving the videos.. If you haven't seen them live yet..GO! You will love it ❤️ Duranie for life 🙌😎
Saw them in Birmingham England this year and they were just EPIC. Love you guys ❤️
My obsession with DD as a teen was epic, Nick was the reason I transitioned from playing piano to synth, but Simon was the reason I walked around with very long scarves tied around my head for about a year, lol. The volume of the crowd for Wild Boys though, must be a bunch of rowdy teens, no no, that's a bunch of middle aged Duranies! Made my heart so happy. Thank you Bryson. ❤
I saw them in Dublin on their arena tour this summer - They are just as epic live as I ever hoped they'd be!
I just saw them sept 6th in boston the future past tour. 40 years after i first discovered them in 1983!!!
I love this duran exploration! I just watched you yesterday reacting to duran
💥... they are so brilliant 💖

I'll be seeing them in PA, OH & MI shortly after you see them!
Rio & Roger playing drums, man that was some fast work! You commented about JT but roger got one hellova workout!
Could you hear me singing Wild Boys? I was one of the bald blokes in the crowd. It was a great concert at The Eden Project... The Who are playing there Tonight! Great reaction video as always. Many thanks Bryson...
I remember how big they were back then! They had such a specific sound. Super popular...! Especially after they did the soundtrack for the James Bond movie "A view to a Kill". LJ
I always love Wild Boys live because the energy is always so high and they usually end with Rio, which is epic! This tour they had such a tightly packed, high energy show and they are in their 60’s!! I was mindblown. My husband was equally impressed and he doesn’t impress easily when it comes to them.😂
The thing that is amazing about John and Nick is that they are self-taught musicians. John started out on guitar and later moved to bass and both on his own.
Always loved Night Boat, Duran Duran having a post punk/goth moment.
The reason you see the crowd acting differently at the Palladium concert was because for many, that was the first introduction to the band in the States. After this concert, Duran Duran would go on to be an established name in the entire Americas.

Hardly. The show was in New York at the Palladium & New York is where Duran Duran fandom initiated. Fans in NY knew of Duran Duran before the rest of the USA because they were played on WLIR before American mainstream caught on later. The only other place that rivaled nascent Duran Duran fandom was in Los Angeles with KROQ playing their music as well before. Also, if you had MTV, which came on air on August 1, 1981, you'd become a fan of growing Durannies as the channel slowly became available in your city. The channel was only available in major cities at the time & that is where Duran Duran music was selling compared to markets without MTV since mainstream radio was not playing Duran Duran music (much). The radio stations were into Journey, Billy Joel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Bruce Springsteen, Pat Benatar, etc- mainly American artists. In addition, Duran Duran did two American tours, one in 1981 & the other in 1982. Ten of their 34 shows were in New York & New Jersey with 9 concerts being in New York. They concentrated in New York because this is where most of their fans were. They did 7 shows in California because this was where there other fans were- that's 50 percent of their shows in two states before the rest of the United States caught on with Duran Mania in 1983! New York & Los Angeles were ahead of the curve as they usually are. And this Palladium concert is an MTV concert called MTV's 2nd Annual New Year's Eve Rock 'N' Roll Ball & the audience at the MTV show (Duran Duran was double-billed as the headline act with A Flock of Seagulls) are highly aware of Duran Duran, because they were the most played band on its rotation with videos like Planet Earth, Careless Memories, Girls On Film, My Own Way, Hungry Like The Wolf, Save a Prayer & Rio at the time. You'd have a point if this show was in some little town in Mississippi but it was not. This was an MTV concert with the biggest band on MTV playing in the city with the largest Duran Duran fan base, New York City.
That performance of Rio was from the MTV New Year's Eve 1982 broadcast. They had 4 bands play that night to ring in the new year for each time zone. Duran was the 1st band that played. The other bands were The Producers, Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, and A Flock of Seagulls. DD's performance of "Hold Back the Rain" from that night is stellar. You commented how some in the crowd seemed "uninterested"... well, it was a NYE party, plus Duran still had not taken America by storm quite yet (they were already huge in their native UK and throughout Europe). They were starting to get there (the Rio album came out that summer and Hungry Like the Wolf started getting a lot of airplay). But they wouldn't really break through in the States until 1983, when "Is There Something I Should Know?" came out. So that's why.

Thanks for the info!
They started playing Night Boat in their shows again this year. It's just amazing live...
❤❤❤ i saw them twice last year & 3 times in 7 days in 3 different states this Sep! I can't wait!
If you are shocked, for most Duran Duran videos, wait for their latest hit, Danse Macabre, out in the next day or two. Might shock you even more after that 🙂
A few other DD videos you haven't reacted to yet (which I think you might enjoy?) are "All You Need is Now", "Breath After Breath", and "Out of My Mind".
Love DD.
Stuning thanks 🎉
Nice one my friend Been waiting ages for you do this 👌 Good 4 choices However you could of picked another 44,444 live choices and all be brilliant
Yay!! They always give a great performance. I’m sad to say I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve seen them. Over a dozen. Even got engaged at one of their concerts 😂 (my love of Duran lasted much longer.)
I am seeing them at the boston garden in September! Been a fan since 1983

Grande DURAN DURAN , Maestros desde los 80 s hasta nuestros dias
I may have missed them, but if nobody has suggested John Taylor's "I Do What I Do" video, you should watch it. It's from the "9 1/2 Weeks" soundtrack, and he sings the entire song. Also, there's a live version of "The Chauffeur" that Simon (while sharing a bottle of wine on stage), sings with Chris Corner (at the time, with Sneaker Pimps), of IAMX fame. (If you've never heard IAMX, you might want to give them a shot, too. I mean, if Simon wants to crash their show to sing a song, they can't be bad, right?)
Great review boss👏👏👏 Rio is around 141 beats per minute 👍
Wait...did you not yet react to the video for NightBoat? You gotta put that high on the Halloween list if you haven't. For your next live fourpack, The Chauffeur or Girls On Film from As the Lights Go Down are a phenomenal blend of music and art. There is also a great live Version of the Man Who Stole a Leopard, but I feel like the album's production value is so special for that song, perhaps listen to the audio first. Wild Boys was a stellar standout for this one. Always loved Simon's vocals on this song, but it's not an easy one to do live. They sounded amazing.
