Watching BIG Lake Trout eat on the Underwater Camera! | Ice Fishing
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Very fun day watching Lake Trout eat on the underwater camera. Lake Trout are still my number #1 species to chase in the winter. I love watching them both on the Livescope and the Underwater camera. Love me some LAKERS!

Man we need more trailer park boys references in these videos, that’s like a whole different audience to tap into 😅

Watching those fish eat, and their reactions to the bait, on camera is fascinating.
Hello Clayton, I wish to thank you for teaching me how to catch walleye! Last winter I was very sick and finally took up my grandson’s suggestion that I watch his favourite fishing show! Well laying around the house I was able to watch all your shows that were available on you tube. Off the fishing topic for a moment I must all congratulate you on your ability to make your relationship work with Your Girlfriend Cindy’s Children!! I take my hat off to you sir!! I look forward to maybe seeing you on the water sometime. I am from southern Alberta but make trips to. My Family’s stomping grounds at Strasbourg Saskatchewan. This past summer I was able to fish for walleye on Last Mountain Lake with my cousin, it was a very successful fishing trip! Respectfully your dedication viewer! Keep up the great work! Robert Nemeth

Really appreciate the kind words Robert!! Loved this story a lot, and so happy you got to experience what LML can be like :)
You are so blessed with good fishing up there Clayton. Coming from Wisconsin, nobody has ever said "it's not that big, just another 40 incher.". I mean about any species. Except sturgeon.

Clayton, has anyone ever told you that you remind them of a fishing version of Brian Shaw? Wait, here me out… aside from your strong stature and you being an absolute GOAT in your field, you’re so friendly and enjoyable to watch on camera. I recently found you on KZread and I’m hooked. Keep up the incredible videos! Thank you 🙏
You read my comment on Ask Clayton!!! 😊 So fun watching you light up when you catch those massive lakers! Underwater footage is the best! Hitting the ice tomorrow, can’t wait!
Awesome!
Love the ask Clayton section!!!❤❤

That is a sweet Eskimo hoodie !!
Great to see another awesome laker video! I like the comment segment idea 👍
Having new CSO videos helps me get through the week.
Clayton, you rock, the haters can't do what you do. Keep it up you make winter shorter. Thanks.
I think it’s great that you interact with your viewers! Especially since you’ve hit 100k. I understand it would be a full time job to answer everyone’s questions, so your idea of picking a few during your videos is pretty smart! I’ve been watching you for quite some time. Keep up the good work!
Love the "Questions for Professor Donkey" segment!
Banger video Clayton ! Thanks for keeping me happy and allowing me to get my fix without even dropping a line haha also learn a bunch. Mr 100k going up !
I was thinking on your last live that your interactions with your viewers was very unique and enjoyable. Thanks for the great content. I look forward to your videos
Haha, “Ask Dr Donkey”, I love it!
Love the Ask Clayton! just need a sweet little jingle and a quick little banner for it. Keep bringing it back throughout the videos.

I really like the ask Clayton part it’s a great idea and I will be trying that in my own videos in the future. Great idea. Keep up the great work. I love your videos and I watch you all the time.
What massive fish! Thanks for the motivation Clayton. Been on the hunt for big Lakers for the last week really grinding it out as we are losing our ice quickly due to warm Temps. Hoping tomorrow is the day!
Those were both big fish clay wow! You had a heck of a day! I’m jealous
Love the TPB clips lol! As always awesome video!

Sick underwater footage, loved it. The new Ask the Donkey segment is a great new addition 😂🍻
Clayton, we see that you are using a trailer flasher on your jigs in this video. Can you explain the attachment method and details. Great video and was a treat to be able to see some of these big fish eat. Thanks for all you do!
Awesome new video Clayton. As always the quality quantity and good old clean fun is what brings us back for more. Absolutely love the new ask Clayton addiction to the video. Such a great way to engage more viewers. My question would be this: Can we expect another game of inches series? Please tell me it’s a yes. Keep up the great work.
Nice!!! Thanks!! #1 I wish we had ice like that in northern Ontario!!

Definitely keep the ask Professor Donkey 😂 your the best
That fish looked so small on the camera! And nice chair Clayton I got the same one! Great video as always!
Q&A’s are okay but don’t let that distract from the trip. A strong storyline is the main reason I’m watching. Tight lines.
you should do a compilation of all your biggest fish like each 2 minute clips
Love the new “ask Clayton” segment! What if each question answered gets put in for a weekly CSO hat drawing? Thanks for another great video!
That new tantrum is not on the website just yet right bought some stuff last night. Another banger of a video of Clayton laker king that's who you are.
Stretching those spines with the intense hook sets.
Hey Professor Donkey, i was watching Kyle on Wisconsin Fisherman and he hooks his aqua view to his garmin. If you have one with the video input you can have live and underwater camera at the same time.. Great video Clayton. Finally got on some ice here in Michigan and was able to land some nice perch..
Love the videos, Clay! Also, I do love the ads "every 3 mins" (not even close) because I know you're getting paid for it, and you deserve it. We expect so much content for free sometimes...
Love the new ask donkey segment lol
First of all, thank you for the great content!! Secondly, thanks for touching on the aver media recorder. I have a small KZread channel and recently purchased one to record my new Garmin to add to my videos!!

As always, great video! Love the look of the big rattlebait. I have some big rattlebaits that I need to try out for Lakers. Custom painted (I know a guy... :) ) Have you ever thought about doing a trip where you're targeting big whitefish? They are definitely a lot of fun to target through the ice, and are great fighters. Keep up the great work!
Those fish could’ve swallowed my chihuahua 😮
Ever think about a USA trip lots of cool fishing trips down here I’d recommend an airboat trip on the Mississippi River for jumbo perch
What’s up Clayton!!😎 that’s so awesome you caught them big boys on the camera! I’m so excited to watch!! Btw this is my new page I had to change the name due to copyright, thanks so much for responding in your live the other day!! You’re the coolest!😆 God bless🙏🏽

My old name was Wyoming Walleye haha
Looking closely at both fish, i saw red spots on the pectoral fins on the 2nd one that i didn't see on the 1st on. Killer day, dude! 2 40+ lakers!
Great video's, your overlay of the actual live scope is better than the live scope scrolling across the bottom.
Love the new "Ask the Donk" part of the show. Always cool to see the underwater hits. How long does your set up and take down take? Keep up the great work.
LOVE your Videos!!!!! Very educational and great content. Could you give me a few of your recommendations and time of year for a open water XXL Lake Trout designation?
Prayers for aaron
Questions and answers: outside with a guide hosted by clayton with the new mascot, donkey with the chicken.
Like i always said you are another level fisherman. We all just have to watch and learn. And my question would be, when we csn see a masterclas pike fishing course?
Awesome to see my comment. Sorry about my bad spelling lol
He finally took the hat off for a sec he does have hair😅love your vids bud
That was a pretty sweet video with the under water camera, P.S there are zero ads when subscribed to premium KZread
When fishing a new lake. If you were going over a chart what would be your top three spots to fish? Humps vs saddles vs drops?
"Ask Clayton" that's awesome 🤘. It's gonna be really helpful. And maybe a tip of the day during the video. Do a "Donkey of the week comment" that would be awesome😂
I've gotta fly into there for some Lakers. Looks so fun compared to eastern ontario minnows lol
Always a great start to my day when I can start it with a CSO Lake trout ice video! Clayton, what knot do you use to tie your jig to your leader?
"I misjudged that fish!" is definitely one of your signature quotes! On a side note how could I contact Frostbite to possibly help with development of that bigger Tantrum? I only fish muskies during the open water season and would love to help!
Thank you for the Aqua Vu footage. 3 fish and 2 were in the forties? You're an animal! Maybe a donkey. Cheers bud!
can you show how you rig ur leader?
So question about targeting a new lake for lakers what are some tips that you would be willing to share to help locate fish? Like a certain depth, type of structure, etc
Great video aye !!! Will you ever go back to a flasher ?
it's crazy for warm weather this year . it was +6 here where I am in ontario today . . been crazy. we have some ice but losing it fast whats left anyway
My question for Professor Donkey 🐴 😂 Who are your favorite fishing KZreadrs that you enjoy watching? Excluding your good friends Aaron and Jay. Love your content. Keep er going 🤙
I like the question and answer part! Nice addition! Was it the same fish?
Did you ever get a Manitoba Master Angler certificate for that monster Brisket Fish? 😆
I'm not expecting there to be that much ice as he proceeds to drill through about 3 ft of ice lol
Hey clayton hear you talk a lot about the Mr. Big and the slugger. Was wondering how the Drama MaMa would do on a big laker and how fishing one would be in about 40-80 Feet of water. Thanks in advance and great video!
Hey Clayton, I’m doing a 3 night 4 day laker trip in mid February. Right now I’m torn where to set up. 1st spot has a flat at 50’ a sharp drop to 98’ then a flat again. I’m thinking of setting up on the top of the break around that 50’ mark. The second spot is a big turn in the structure with a very steep drop off but no real flat to fish I would just be fishing the break. I’m leaning towards the flat. In this scenario what do you think you would do?
u should try the camera with a bright light shining down and see if that helps/ scares fish . I feel like it wouldn't scare them from past experiences and would make for some good video I think .
Great video, love the ask clayton segment. How dare you have ads though, you're the only channel in all of television with ads 🙄🤣
ASK CLAYTON!!! When will you do more jalapeno chip commercials!??!?!?! "I am the likker, Randy"..... Keep up the great work, sir!!
