Raonic has to thank Norrie for winning the first set, otherwise he would not establish this record...😅😅
Incredible. Welcome back, Milos!

Here are some interesting stats. Top Ad Side - 7 Wide /3 DTL Deuce Side 2 Wide/10 DTL Bottom Ad side - 4 Wide/4 DTL Deuce Side: 5 Wide/12 DTL He definitely favours Down the Line when he's on the Deuce side on both sides of the court. He likes to go wide when he's at the top on Adv side onto the opponents backhand. If you freeze where his racquet goes on take back, you'd be able to pick his serve more. Doesnt look like Norrie didnt any homework.

Thanks for the work. I don't think the court side matters all that much. So it's basically 11-7 Wide/T on Ad, 7-22 Wide/T on Deuce. It would moreover be interesting to see the stats for Norrie's successful returns.

For context, the previous record was 45 aces in a three set match by Ivo Karlovic against Tomas Berdych during Halle 2015. His ratio was 45 aces to 81 serves. Even crazier, he had surpassed his own record, which was 44 aces, which he shared alongside Mark Philippoussis.
@wrywg

It was actually 45 aces to 104 serves, Raonic did 47 aces to 110 serves...81 points was what Karlovic won on serve. I don't think anyone has had more than 50% of his serves as aces in a complete match, it's supremely difficult.
Sound is so satisfying
awesome serving Milos!
Among the big three, Roger Federer has the most career aces, 11,478, which ranks third on the all-time list. He also holds the record for most aces in a Grand Slam final, 50, in the 2009 Wimbledon. He also hit 7 consecutive aces in a match.

Anew looking this tape , and simply is like earn two sets only with ace , simply another level of Raonic.
What did Norrie do to Raonic to deserve this 😅
Something very satisfying about seeing Norrie getting aced 47 times and losing at the end! Nicely done Milos! Wishing you health and success!
47 overall aside, hitting 2 aces in a row at 5-6 30-30 in the deciding set is mega clutch.

Absolutely, dude. I really hope he develops a spot serve going forward. His game will become untouchable. Djokovic developed very precise serving as his career progressed. I think Carlos will aim at the same. However, it will require adjustments to his technique- which is already happening.

Anew in this tape only for say that any would want have this first service. Also tell that Norrie left completely crazy after of these services of this canadian player.
Ahh
I feel bad that I am the 48th comment, but... Man, that was insane?! Was it all Milos, or was it Norrie completely failing to read the toss? He bare moved on most of these?
Just being a good server is not enough. He got beaten the following round😂😂😂😂
Bad day to be a line judge
Reminds me of Johansson who served 51 aces vs Agassi and still lost the match. Aces are not everything...
Serves an ace while a spectator moved on in the BG
... and ONE bong on the head of a tennis volunteer.
And he almost lost.
Looks like Norris is desperate to see this new record
Absolutely beautiful Respect Milos
As least he didn't use an ace after 9-9 in the final tiebreak. Otherwise, he doesn't need an opponent; just a practice court with targets.
0:11 damnnn that must hurt😮😅
And yet Wimbledon will not give him a wild card...🙄
