All of these watches are stunning, but Cartier's Santos-Dumont Skeleton Micro-Rotor blew my mind! Robert's Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is also out of this world.

The Reverso Chronograph for sure. Two watches in one, the black dial being understated, the openworked chrono on the other hand... Bazinga! What a stunner.

The Jlc of Rdj was the only watch I recognized of the oscars and it's my favorite as well. Very nice piece.

Many if not most of these watches have been loaned to the celebrities by the manufacturer, often with the option to buy at a steep discount. Same goes for the dresses and jewelry worn by the ladies.

The Vuitton piece has a fabrique du temps beating inside currently nothing to be taken lightly, very cool video

I think Ke Huy Quan’s choice is pretty respectable too. But yeah I agree with you. RDJ always shows impeccable taste without being uber flashy

After my father-law-law got tired of maintenance on his 1960s Seamaster, he said the heck with it and went to a Timex. I could afford other watches, but my 2000 (007) Omega Seamaster is very accurate at showing my life tick away.

LV for 50k I don’t think so Carrera with lab grown diamonds for 100k Yuck lab grown diamonds are pretty much worthless if ever trying to sell it. 200k for Jacob and Co Bugatti! Not worth it! AP is able to build elegant, subtle nice looking watches, but they solely rely on the sales of the Royal Oak. It's such a vulgar, over-the-top, yet lame and boring watch. Hope, CH only wore it because he got paid to do so, as I thought of him to have better taste than this.

Many watch companies sign endorsement deals with influencers of society. Rolex themselves spend over 100 million dollars a year paying these people to wear the watches. Then the window lickers see their favorite idol wearing the watch and then do everything they can to buy something from that brand to feel a fake ass connect to their idol. It’s call hype. These people are not wearing these watches because they like them. They are leveraging their brand to get paid to wear them. Let that sink in for a minute 🤔
