Can we see video series on what tool watches professionals love to use in their fields? Firemen, soldiers, police, mountain climbers, snowboarders, survivalists, surfers, divers, etc. etc.

G shock: Mudmaster, Frogman, Gravity Master, Rangeman (New), Rangeman (regular). Those would be my go to picks for professional tool watches. Not much else that can really beat that tbh.

When I was active duty, in my profession we were issued watches for the field. They were mechanical but not automatic. They were designed without parts that would trigger an IEDs. But you had to wind it every day. I can’t remember the brand. Most other guys just wore G-Shocks of varying styles. Some higher ranking offices would have high end pieces like Rolex, but that’s their personal preference.
Aaron Marino, CEO of Tiege Hanley Skin Care, wears MVMT. Or so I've heard.

Interesting! I live near Wal Mart headquarters and I have noticed that as long as Sam was around, the executives lived modestly. Once he was gone the big houses, watches, boats, etc. showed up.

This is not your imagination. Sam Walton didn't approve of conspicuous consumption.
Toyoda Kiichiro the founder of Toyota once wrote or said how winding a watch everyday bring you into a harmonious connection with the watch, and that being able to care for your car should generate the same harmonious connection with it. This was reprinted a couple of years ago in 'Toyota Magazine' (the free magazine they have in dealerships or send out if you have a service plan) when talking about why even today you get a toolkit with every new Toyota. So perhaps that is why his grandson wears a mechanical watch. Perhaps the Patek even was his grandfathers. btw the current Toyota emblem is three ovals, once representing the customer, one representing the company inside a third representing the two existing together in harmony. To go back to the founders analogy.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. Definitely keep this going. I’d love to see the watches of more CEOs and senior executives. Keep it going for sure.

I'm impressed seeing CEO's wearing more humble watches, good to know

There is a good reason for this. They have high status, and so don't need to wear watches to promote and advertise their status. It is the status seekers, who want to project an image higher than they are, who wear the more expensive watches.
Yes, I would enjoy a part 2. I really enjoy the concept of "Who is wearing what watches". Perhaps a hollywood glance, or Quarterbacks of the NFL.
Do a watches of rock stars video. I seem to recall you talking about Elvis's Hamilton, but...more!
Looking forward to the video Teddy!

I like the Skyhawk choice. Citizen has the best bang for the buck in cheap watches - design, features, construction.
What about making a top 10 analog hybrid smartwatches. It would be interesting to see

Any tool watches for physicians that would be useful, other than chronographs or those with pulsometers?
Will check out your straps! Thx!

My colleague travels the world and loves his Skyhawk. Good pick!
@2:14 I've felt the same way. I always thought Toyota is like Seiko, where as Lexus, is like Grand Seiko.

I wonder how many of these billionaires made their own choices of watches??? probably they got them from friends or business associates. Just wonder that who really are watch addicts and knows what they are wearing.

Probably the Walmart CEO with the watch for 300-600 dollars. I personally understand him completely. You may have a 200 dollar wtach but jump 40 years latter and that cheap model will be known as the watch of(insert name here). If you have such a high sentiment for an object you got from your first scolarship, or the first money you earned, it will stick with you even when you become succesful. The expensive 50 000 dollar watches will be awesome but they won't be your watch, the watch that helped you not be late for that crucial exam in your 4th year, and latter the watch which helped you not be late for your first date with your future wife. Such things add important sentiment.

Hi, can u make a video about e6b, (pilot/aviator) watches? And name a few brands that are affordable.
Hey teddy, can you make a video about Rotary watch? I heard they make great quality watches but i never hear watch enthusiasts talk about it even though its a watch with history
Can we see a video on watches worn by leaders and rivals in specific industries? Like in IB or Consulting?

It is really nice topic ,
How about the CEOs of all those Swiss watch manufacturers? Would like to know what model/series of their own products they prefer to wear.

@@TeddyBaldassarre Absolutely--they are just so cool. Maybe a single video or a few with different price ranges.
i love most watches, except the diamond encrusted stuff..each unto their own i suppose. but with the Walmart CEO watch, those busy watches are often used by people who do actually use them. not ALL....but a lot do,especially divers(who do light recreation diving for eg)speed guys who time their cars for various reasons, pilots (not saying his watch is used for that reason)but chronographs are also known for their hardiness as well, here i am with a Timex,19 years old and as a motor mechanic,i work with it on all the time.wash grease off with grit handwash and just doesnt stop!!!!!!!!!!! only one light scratch. hit it with a hammer once or twice or more by accident, swim with it on,still keeps chugging along. but love seeing the different watches out the...love them, great video and just subbed.
Good review. Keep it the good work. Hello from the republic of chad.
I have a skyhawk. It's an awesome low maintenance watch. The time adjust itself even at the start of daylight savings.
Love your vids! Just a small tip: ETA is not actually pronounced E-T-A but "Etta". Been working there :)
Love this! Would love to see videos showcasing powerful women’s watch choices.
Hi Teddy, how about Raymond Weil, is it worth the money?
I've gone to your watch strap selling website and saw only a very limited selection of straps and none of them offered in extended length. I might buy one when I see it offered in 22cm or greater length ;)
Why would a person wearing patek already consider seiko? Even the grand seiko ?
Great stuff, Teddy. Off to look at the watch straps. Better not be made in PRC!
Mr. Toyota's Patek Calatrava in White Gold is the best. Pure class. Nothing else comes close!
Can you make a video about the best watches with day and date complication
Thank you for being more informative of the individual as well as the size, movement, and price of the watch. I really would like to see more of these. Possibly celebrities, athletes and other public figures. Maybe even powerful figures in the early 1900’s who wore the vintage watches we love so much before they were vintage.
