I'm 71, retired, on a fixed SSI income I used these composition notebooks and embellish them to the hilt and binge them out and I sell them local Farmers Markets. They are so much fun to make.

Too cute. I make gifts for my local cancer center but I like making things that are different from the usual pillows and caps... Those items are very time consuming and this seems so quick. This would be great for the patients to journal their experience. I'm definitely adding this to my list of things to make.❤

Did this with 10 10yr old for my hreat granddaughters birthday. They fid a great job. Thay were their summer reading journals!

I made this yesterday. It isn’t as perfect as yours, but it did turn out. I used knomes, mushrooms, flowers and butterfly papers. My 11 year old grand daughter is obsessed with mushrooms. I even made bookmark with some of the leftover paper and added a cute tassel with mushroom and knome charms. I added stickers on various pages, but put the remaining stickers in one of the pockets so can decorate it as well. I can’t wait to give it to her. It will make the best writing journal at school this year.

So, I recently made this with the dollar tree wallpaper!! Super easy and already sticky!!

These revamped composition books are my favorite videos to watch!lol I myself don't prefer to use those, but I revamp my spirals and people are always asking where I purchased them from! I learned from the best, and I enjoyed this video!

Sherry!!! Watching you create such beauty out of something kind of ugly (let's face it-- composition notebooks aren't much to look at) is amazing. Not just pretty, but so handy, too.

I love the expansion of the accordion fold pocket and then the magnetic closure is awesome!

You have a rare skill. You can teach in away that is effficient while also being easy to understand. You wasted NOT one word! I'm very motivated for this cute project!

Oh you got me goin'... I'm thinking full on junk/scrapbook journal this forward to personalize it as a gifting notebook for the kids for birthday... they can find something personal throughout the book... Thank you so much. Inspiration is your gift!

Event planning. Phone lists, recipes, inspiration for decorating, reciepts, invitation/rsvp checklist, things you need to rent, beg, borrow or buy. Grad parties, DIY weddings and receptions, parents 50th...these are all things I've been involved in planning just in 2024. something like this would have been handy for me even though I wasn't in charge.

Great job. Just donated my entire room of rubber stamping and paper, tools, and embellishments (journals too) to my senior center. It was getting difficult to enjoy my hobby due to muscle wasting in my hands and arms. Kept my paper doll stuff tho. 💖😊

I used to make covered notebooks quite a lot. We had a group of teens that really loved them for Journaling. But I think you went the extra mile making pockets & tabs. It's really pretty. I used some stamp designs & hand colored each one. It's was so much fun.

I love making these. I make them for my niece for her different subjects in school.

I’m surprised at the high cost of notebooks and journals at stationary shops, and this is an easy and budget-friendly way to upcycle these low-cost composition books into bougie notebooks/journals. Thanks for sharing! I like this!

I've been re purposing composition books for years. I make sure to hit the back to school sales where I can get them for .50 or sometimes even .25 ea. I've made smash books, junk journals, planners etc. All kinds of things...the ideas are endless. Yours is so pretty and as soon as I saw "composition book" I clicked on your video and you have a new sub. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. I will admit I am a paper addict and have been since I was a little girl.

I adore this project. I made my first one and glued my pocket on upside down! Ah well, it means I can make another one!!

I can’t stop making these notebooks! I love them. I’ve done 6 or 7 already and need to get to Walmart for more notebooks 😅 I’ve tried other methods and watched a ton of videos with demonstrators ripping out pages, gluing pages together, and it just never came out right and “polished” looking. But these are amazing! Thank you for another great video.

Simple and great looking! I'm going to make these for my craft room idea books. I like to store smaller templates in plastic baggies but can incorporate them in a pretty composition book that is themed.

Love the pockets on the front and the inside. Adding a thumb notch on the inside pockets might be a good idea with a circle punch if they are hard to get into. Thanks for sharing! I’ve been using some of your other videos to make folios for 18-month planners! 💕 Many thanks!

Awesome ❤ I used to do this for my kids. The deco composition notebooks cost way more (around $2-$3) than the plain ones which in my area can go for as low as 50 cents. It’s a no brainer. I’d buy scrapbooking paper on sale in patterns and designs my boys would like.
