We begin this episode by going over the supplies you’ll need to embroider a Velcro patch, and where you might be able to find them. The supplies are simple and easy to find at your local craft store or online, and are also very affordable.
Next, we discuss why you might want to start making Velcro patches in your shop, and go over the costs and potential profit, so you have a full picture of how much you stand to make selling patches like these on an online retailer, like Etsy.
Then, we go over the patch digitizing process in depth, so you have a comprehensive understanding of how to create your own Velcro patch design.

I use a soldering iron instead of a lighter. the edges will be much cleaner with it.

My needles keep picking up the glue on the self adhesive velcro tape mentioned in the supplies. Is there a specific kind you need to buy?

Hi Stephanie! If possible, use sew-on Velcro instead of self-adhesive Velcro. Sew-on Velcro is specifically designed to be stitched and does not have adhesive that can gum up your needles.

In Chroma Luxe select Appliqué on the left, then in the appliqué menu on the right next to Type hit the drop down and you will see mimic merrow.
