But as soon as India Lost T20-WC and Hardik did well, they said we need Hardik for T20, Rohit ODI, Ajinkya Rahae for TEST format, bcoz for T20 you need more dynamic fiery captain and not Rohit. @@catalyst18 that's not true at all lol. Rahane, Dhoni, Rayudu, Jaddu, Kuldeep, etc. all got along with Kumble and his disciplined ideas. In fact, thanks to Kumble's and Rahane's tactical nous, they played Kuldeep in the final test match at home which we won vs Australia in 2016-17 or else we'd have lost that test series due to Kohli's stubbornness.

and now both of them have won the t20 world cup.... And retired together

What rohit delivers? He's the very same guy who scored 5 centuries in single world cup edition and total 6 centuries in world cup the first player to achieve this.. he's the second highest run scorer for India in WTC (2018-2020) after Ajinkya Rahane.. he's the highest run scorer for India in test cricket in 2021..and u saying he didn't delivers? With virat? He didn't scored a single century from past 2 years..no offense to both of them..both were good player and captain but this these comments will make that u think there's a rift in between these two whereas both of them always clear that they have no issues stop hating anyone of them

@@amiyaarchit465 ??? Rohit sucks in ICC knockouts and only delivers against teams like Bangladesh in ICC Knockouts, Franchise Cricket is very different from International Cricket. Virat is any day a superior batsman than Rohit, who even in his "peak" year in Test cricket could only score 2 hundreds with an avg of 47 in 2021. Kohli on the other hand, struggling in tests and making hundreds no doubt, yet he still has an avg of 50+ in all 3 formats AND he scored 50+ scores in 6 out of 8 ODIs, and is the only player to have a 50+ average in T20s. Keep your stats in check before defending an inferior batsman. We'll have to see about captaincy, Kohli has had an amazing run as captain with winning 70% of ODIs and 40/68 tests, losing only 11, ICC Knockouts have been tough for Team India, let's see where Rohit's leadership takes us. (Point in mind that he's gonna be 35 this year and would only captain till 2023 world cup, assuming that because his fitness isn't very good).

Running out kohli so he can outshine him by making hundreds, not allowing kohli to score hundred when they were batting together. And finally resting kohli from ODIs so he cannot complete 100 centuries.

And Kohli leaving test captaincy was cherry on the cake for him. Giving him full power. And he fully used his power. Resting Kohli 25 times in 1.5 years compared to 6 matches in fu*king 12 years under ms dhoni and Kohli himself
