Watch This To Know How I Forgave A Close Friend | Gaur Gopal Das

Ойын-сауық

#forgiveness #lettinggo #gaurgopaldas
The forgiveness principle explained here is a generic one. Every situation is different and every individual’s capacity to let go is different as well. Whether or not we release the negativity is an individual choice. But to heal ourselves, it is advised that we do make an attempt, sooner or later.
Note: a) Forgiveness is not a black or white thing. These are many shades of grey and whether or not to forgive depends on the situation as well.
Ex: If a criminal or rapist is allowed to let go in the name of forgiveness, it encourages others who have such perverted tendencies to act wrongly. Have written on this elaborately in the book #lifesamazingsecrets
b) If a person repeatedly wrongs us and takes undue advantage of our goodness ...our letting go, our forgiveness can land us into the space of abuse. Stand strong and never allow anyone to abuse you in the name of virtue.
c) If you have asked for forgiveness and the person involved doesn’t respond even after a few times, you have done the right thing. Give them their space ... and let time decide how things move on.

It took me many years to understand that forgiving someone who has hurt us is in fact for our own peace and to stop hurting ourselves. Forgiving is not easy but brings such calmness in life

Forgive for them too because somewhere or the other even they got hurt! Shit happens because of both sides, nothing is one sided. If you were subject to bad behaviour or insults out of anger then you also gotta closely observe WHAT made the other person react like that! No one will say shit out of the blue moon without any reason! Forgiving only for yourself is nothing but selfishness,it only funnily means that you really haven't moved on and have only forgiven to satisfy your ego.

But a dog who has bitten you once has the potential to bite you again... That's why I find it very difficult to forgive and reconcile with a person who hurts me even once... Because if I do, the person will again hurt me in future...So you just have to recognize sometimes that such person is not the right person to have a close relationship with...

Because sometimes like guruji said, in a close relation We say thing's We don't mean so it's up to both of the people understand this and at the same time remember all the great things which We have done for each other, all the lovely moment that We have spent together and move on instead of looking for an apology.

"People are not bad from heart, it's just the situation or the circumstances which is the cause of their particular behaviour at some point of time"..my husband's saying..... I thought about it several times (aise hi) but when I started observing people's behaviour, then I realised the true meaning of this line..and it's very true...as Guruji truely said, have a pause button and go in memory lane, think of his positive and the importance of her/him in your life...which is heavier..the life with him or without him... Go with emotions...and believe me, you will get your answers and forgive that person from your heart... Jyada ho to " JAADU KI JAPPI" bahut kaam aati hai...Save your relationships and CHILLLLL , kyuki " yahan se Zinda bach ke koi ni jaane wala" 😊😊

I believe that everything on this earth which is “ good “ and that which takes you to follow the right path is Godly. God = Good. Other religions also teach us to be good human beings . So how can I term them as bad? No way. You are a Christian by the way you are quoting verses from the Bible. I am a Catholic. But I see all around we so called followers of Christ do the most treacherous and disgusting things to other humans. That’s what Jesus said “ stop behaving like hypocrites “. Practice what you Preach . That’s exactly what we are not doing. Reminds me of the song by The Eagles “ Last resort “. Perfect for people who have made God a business. Good = Good. Nothing else matters. 🙏

Forgiving someone close its truly tough. However we forgive but, don't forget. Definitely with all due respect of love and good memories we forgive, but forgiveness also doesn't come from one side it's mutual. If it's mutual it's create further stronger bond because one who hurt also consider for take responsibility to not either repeat the same or also discover why it happens otherwise it's can't be healed. Sometimes it's good have also thought to forgive with understanding something happened for a reason or for a season.

Often a Pause made while in different situations can help to maintain relationships. We have to evaluate what is more important, the situation or the person. And the pause at right time helps. Thanks Prabhuji for the insight.

Nice video...👍forgiveness is proportional to the respect we have for the other person and also proportional to our humility..second factor is universally applicable..

Fantastic explanation. It is true that people who are close to us only hurt and very practical solution that we must also count the depositories by them in our life and exclude this particular withdrawal.
