It's obvious how Boxers just instantly get you, and you get them. As awful as her situation is, she's in a good place now, and it seems like this has been extremely theraputic for the both of you.

Boxers want to cuddle and kiss immediately no matter how hard life has been. They only have goodness in their hearts. Im sure she will get the best home. Im a boxer mom. I wear my sitting with dogs sweatshirt ALL the time!

We decided two weeks ago that we wanted to expand our family. We've been following you for the last month or so, and we knew we had to look to our local shelter. Long story short, our shar-pei mix, Aspen, was adopted that day, she's doing great in the house and is so good with our young boys! Thank you for the inspiration to find our puppers from the shelter!

I can't watch every episode of Sitting with Dogs because sometimes it's too painful and overwhelming. I love it when I do tune in and find a dog who has defrosted thanks to Rocky's interventions, and, even better if someone is being adopted that episode. But overall this is the most heartwarming channel anyone could watch. It was so lovely to see Mila losing her fear so fast. She's a sweetheart.

Its good to hear YOU are working on your issue. There are more ways to keep doing positive and I hope you use them for your benefit. I too have dep/anxiety and help can work ,If we actually use it. I didn't always, but am now. Maybe working with animals would be a good move, I'm going to. Best to you, you deserve to heal .😊😊

I agree with you it really helps lift my depression. Seeing a man being so kind and vulnerable gives me hope in humanity. I hope anyone suffering gets relief and off course all the doggies are looked after. Love to all ❤

I did this for 6 years of my life in my mid 20s met over 300+ dogs and cats in those 6 years, gave elder dogs the best final days of they're lives, helped to get so many dogs get rescued or adopted, and adopted + changed the coarse of several animals including a euthanasia case that has now been my dog for 10 years. I absolutely know the feelings you get when helping any animal. I appreciate and applaud your videos.

I am 76 born into a house with a furkid. Have never been without a dog or dogs I should say in all my years... YOU ARE A JEWEL!! THERE IS NOTHING NOT TO love ABOUT YOU, YOUR COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, YOUR LAUGH is contagious, YOUR SMILE and the animals LOVE YOU! Thank You for everything you do along with what this wonderful shelter does..This Boxer is a Doll. I am recently widowed and my late husbands and my heartdog, Dane/Lab mix 12 yrs old has osteosarcoma..so Iam spoiling her, way more than already ..If she wasn't terminal , I would have another older rescue, however she deserves every bit of my attention in this heartwrenching season...

Oh, so sorry to hear your dog's diagnosis. I am also widowed. That was the very worst. Then our dog was diagnosed with a mass. It was very painful and broke my heart. Wishing you a lot of love and more fur-friends in the future.

I'm so glad the shelter got a deluge of toys! Happy I was able to add mine to the pile. Keep up the incredible work you do.

I sooo miss my white Boxer, Nala. She was a rescue dog we had who gave so much love. We were so lucky that she lived to be almost 16 yrs of age, which I have been told is rare for a boxer. Bless them.

Poor baby. Boxers are the best dogs ever. Humans have let her down. Boxers take 2 years to grow their second brain cell. They need lots of patience as they are puppies for a long time.

Our neighbors had a boxer named Brax, he was one goofball! When I was trimming the plants he would play on the other side of the fence and often I got a headbump and he mades noises so I had to say hey silly stop it! When we got our black German shepherd Eri they where a half year apart in age they ran up and down the fence and would watch for one an other. We all laughed so hard with two goofball’s. Brax was 8 when he died from cancer, Eri died age 10, when he died she always went up to the fence looking for him. Eri died of different medical conditions. My husband said luckily you work to pay her medical bills because when we took the total I would have a new car. In those 10 years. I had my shadow that kept the household safe, my son never told a lot but he told Eri everything so I could find out what happened and where he got those bruises once again. I was there when she took her last breath and she’s been cremated three weeks before her passing she put her nose against a announcement for border collie pups, I told her yes girl pups, she did that three times. I cried thinking I wanted to have kids of her but due her illnesses I did go forward not wanting an other family going through the same story. My husband told me take that number she’s telling you something you’re depressed and she feels you need a buddy. I told her I loved her thanked her for all the love and moments we had. Now I have two border collies. Boxers aren’t my kind of breed but they make perfect dogs for the right match.

She heard from the other dogs about an amazing guy who comes in to give love, comfort & treats. She was so happy to meet you, she showered you with kisses! ♥️😘

My dog who is also a skinny breed (some sort of sight hound mix) went missing in the bush for 3 days, he came out looking like he’d been starved for a month. Moral of the story, it can be just a matter of days for a dog to look like that

Hallo aus der Schweiz...Du sprichst mir aus dem Herzen...Ich habe vor 4 Jahren meinen Hund einschläfern müssen...Der schlimmste Tag in meinem Leben...Noch heute kann ich kaum darüber sprechen, denn er war mein Best Buddy...Ich hätte soooo gerne wieder einen Hund, aber leider geht das erst in ca. 10 Jahren, wenn ich pensioniert bin > Rentner...Dann werde ich mir einen Hund aus einem Tierheim holen...Ich wünsche dir alles Liebe...Gruss, Rolf

I rescued our dog from a shelter. What a process! Almost went to buy a puppy. Thank God that they called us right before COVID. He’s been a great dog and I can’t image my life without him.

I had a soulmate cat that died on me. I told my husband not to get me a replacement pet because I was all tore up about my cat dying. I'm a quadriplegic and cats love me because I'm still all the time. So a month later on Christmas my step daughter gave me a kitten. It was so much help for my broken heart. Come on Rocky. You need to fill that void. I hope you can realize it soon.

My boxer was the sweetest dog ever. He weighed 100 pounds after I had him for a few months. I rescued him from a shelter, he was scheduled for euthanasia! He was 2 years old, he lived to age 10. When the time came, I held him in my arms until he passed. He was a wonderful pup, very loyal and loving. To my baby Herschel, an angelic soul.

I wish they lived longer

She’s wonderful! I wouldn’t be surprised if someone is missing that dog a lot. She doesn’t seem neglected other than being skinny. Her eyes are clear and her teeth and gums looked good when she yawned. And she seems to enjoy human contact. She’s a sweetie. I hope she finds a loving home.

what a beautiful boxer! My mother had two and they were the most unruly critters! Spoiled to death, and they seriously lacked training. They were cute though, and they were also one mass of muscle! Very strong dogs. I hope this little girl you have finds a wonderful home.

Boxers are the best dogs. I had one growing up. She was a very happy dog and very loyal to the couple who raised me. I remember her sitting on the steps waiting for them to come home and when they did..she wiggled all over. They are the most adorable dogs. I hope this dog gets a loving, forever home.

I love your videos. My fur baby went to the bridge and I’ve been thinking of going to sit with dogs now. I have been trying hard to help my friend in Ky who runs a rescue. The shelters are overwhelmed right now and it stresses the dogs out so having visitors does help. My friend is actually in the hospital right now with heart issues. She’s been working another hoarder case and it’s causing her heart stress. Also along with toys donate financially to shelters and rescues. It costs a fortune to care for the animals medically. Her strays come in with so many health problems. There are so many dump cases because of financial reasons. Love you Rocky🫶🏻🐶
