Having both an impact driver and a drill/driver is quite nice to have. So you have 2 tools ready at all time for your DIY furniture and cabinetry projects so you have a drill for pre drilling and an impact driver for firmly driving in screws. If you are just starting out with the dewalt ecosystem but, you are on a limited budget, I highly recommend getting the drill/driver and 1/4 impact driver combo kit. Then add on additional bare tool or 2 tailored to your needs whenever you can afford it depending whether you a wood worker, metal worker, auto technician, or just a handyman or the combination of 2 or more for your DIY agendas.

I just got my kit about five months ago now. I'm in the middle of your video and wanted to comment on your circ saw comment. As for the zero indicator, look closely at the marks, there is one for 0 and the other is for 45.

@@Katyhillfarmer As far as the right hand cut, it doesn't take much cutting before you become good with it. Good luck and hope you enjoy your tools.

Dewalt needs to make a replacement shoe for that saw with the right cut line. Similar to the Kolbalt circ saws

I n.v habe a drill amdnimpact driver already....looking to pick up some more DeWalt tools.as I really like them so far... will probably get the 20v brushless string trimmer next...but would love a circular saw that is set up for a lefty...lol I bet you could find a left handed person that would love to buy that thing...

@@Katyhillfarmer I dont like that dewalt kinda slips unwelcomed suprises into their combo kits. Probs though on getting the xr kit and not the 8 peice that comes with like one xr that one is kinda a bigger scam.

Hello @KatyHillFarmer, can I ask what is the difference between your premium kit and this DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Drill Combo Kit, 10-Tool (DCK1020D2). Your response and advice will be much appreciated. Bcoz I am planning to buy DCK1020D2 kit. And also i will ask if it can be use in the Philippines without transformer? We are using 220v here. XR has the brushless motors so more heavy duty also if your running 220 I would say you will need a transformer thanks for watching and hope you Subscribe

these tools are all battery powered. you just need to worry about an adapter for the charger

You said you don't like the circular saw at all then you said you other than the line on the metal you like it. Have you tried the 6 ah battery?

damn I just purchased this a couple days ago didnt even realize the circular saw was like that. I'm trying to think of the last 15 years of working construction and I really dont think I've used a saw that's on the right. So is it a lefty saw?

disappointed that they would throw a saw in like this just because it's a kit. I really like dewalt tools and I couldn't pass on the price to get everything I need but cutting will take some time to get used to.

Most corded circular saws are on the right maybe with the exception of worm drive styles.

I’ll never understand why they refuse to put in even 1 single 4ah battery in these 300 to 700 dollar kits. They give ya maybe a 2ah battery to run brushless circular saws and hammer drills… sometimes ya get the special 1.7 or 1.5 ah battery why is only made for combo kits lol. For 700 ya think they could take a tool out and give like an 80 dollar useable battery.

Yes they are the same price now (on sale black Friday) for the kit or $649 for the same kit but includes the medium duty impact driver from Home Depot right now. Thanks for the video.

@@Katyhillfarmer Right now amazon has a $25 off special, with my prime cashback I got it for $525 after tax, I like the fact it had 5ah batteries, wish it would have come with the grinder though, having to buy it separate sucked. I had to call my grandparents and have them order it for me ( w/ $25 discount, limit 1 per account :P)
