ATM withdrawls abroad sometimes the metal card will be hard to fit inside the card slots sometimes. I found this in Lisbon Portugal some times (at the multibanco)

Worth knowing is that any Junior (children cards following the Metal) can only have SEK currency meaning exchange from SEK when abroad. We stopped using them due to this.

I have the metal plan for a couple of years and used to be free to access the lounge, now to have that you got upgrade to platinum 🤔

The Visa card is no longer working everywhere, I could not get the Aeroflot ticket refunded anymore (purchased using a virtual Revolut card). The Unionpay card is the card for the international traveler.

I have seen a video with a guy saying that his Revolut card worked in China whereas the Unionpay did not work.

Why have to pay 16€ permonth for matek card . This saving deposit or this 16€ just administration for bank?

Maybe it was not the case at the time of the video but the metal now increase the rate of saving account which could pay the subscription if you put more than 20k.

Can I add my Amex explorer credit card on my revolution metal card?

So you can stay in airport lounges with that metal card?

Do you need to be subscribed to the metal plan to keep using the card, or once you get the card, you could cancel your plan

No once you get the card you can cancel the subscription and the card still works! Although you lose all the benefits.

In 2024 I had to apply for 3rd card as the atm swallowing metal cards be aware, the revolut won't admit it 😢 avoid if you can

if you missed the stock market times than a fee would be added because if nothing open for them they turn on their users not big tax but something 1% is nothing match to their ATM what want to change you for using their atms

lol almost got baited by the cashback :( thank you for the info but strange how they advertise that 1% even in EU🤔 I still have a question though do you get chashback if you only use the physical copy of the metal card or does it work with the digital version of the card as well because I almost exclusively pay with apple wallet stored cards

The revolut metal card is retained by the most atm in UK avoid if you can

So let’s say I‘m about to go to a non-EU country and I exchanged money from Euro to a different currency within the app… when I take cash from an ATM or pay in store with the card, does it take the money automatically from the exchanged account?

Yes it does! (Assuming you have enough of that currency to cover your withdrawal)

Basically, payments indicate the currency, so Revolut will try to take the corresponding currency first. If impossible, Revolut will pay from the main currency and will then deduct convert fees. It's also useful online with paypal, as paypal will propose the exchange the currency, or to transfer the payment as-is.

Revolut, is it a good bank? Tried to research on it and Wikipedia is saying it's saying as of Dec 2022 it does not have a uk banking license
