Mini 6 for field workers! iPad Air 4 capability, better form factor. Everyone thinks iPad=office. Not the case. The mini with its pencil capabilities is for far more people than pilots. Really wish Apple would market more to field/utility workers. There is a huge market there. But then again, I may be biased?

I seriously thinking about buying iPad mini. In Tokyo trains and buses are quite busy. So I think iPad mini has great sizes to read, note taking, studying almost everywhere. not so big and heavy, and not so small as iPhone. 😅😊

Honestly, the iPad Mini 6 is the best model for handheld gaming. It's much more comfortable to hold than any other model of iPad.

I had an iPad mini 6, but decided to sell it for a 2020 iPad Air for my sister since she started using it more than me and wanted a bigger screen. Ended up buying off of Amazon for $350. I also decided to get myself a 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch and sold my laptop for it because I started using my mini more than my laptop. I also bought it for $350. All I used it for was movies, KZread and school notes when I went to class in college. I really didn’t need the processing for the type of work I was doing.

@@Shawn47474 Yes you can use the Apple Pencil Gen 1 wirelessly on iPad 9, but for charging you need to use the cable or you can use the port on the iPad directly. Apple Pencil Gen 2 won't work on iPad 9 tho.

Recently got the Air 5 and couldn’t possibly love it any more than I do. Especially with a keyboard folio. It really is just like a laptop if not better in some ways. And I love how long I know I’m going to have it for thanks to the M1 update longevity. The pro would have been way too much for me to use, and the 10th Gen just isn’t enough. The Air 5 is my goldilocks zone for iPads lol. …oh god I just sounded like such an ad 🤦🏻‍♂️

Can we comfortably do typing work in excel with a Bluetooth keyboard? And can we access full functionality of websites such as doing data entry work in a website that is a company's website ? On the iPad Air 5? There are some ppl who are saying laptop runs specific applications or specific applications run better on laptop . But I don't think I need a app to work on . I just need to do office work online in a website or do pdf /printing work . I love your comment. But I have OCD seeing comments from Ppl like "iPad is not good for reading /writing and gaming " and some are saying "on my laptop runs specific app or specific applications run better on laptop . But I don't think most ppl need those apps . Simce they have made desktop level browsing im sure websites will have full functionalities on an iPad like In a computer.

Nice! I have iPad 10th gen and it also works great!!! I use it for KZread , video editing , photo taking and also studying. I have the 256 GB model in blue with Wi-Fi only. The downside of this iPad is that it can be a real headache to charge the Apple Pencil and the iPad Air 5 can be fragile so make sure to be careful with it!

the 12.9 pro m1 was on sale for 799 during black friday which was just an insane deal for an apple product like that

Yeah I’ve had mine since launch and it’s already laggy due to what I’d presume are forced updates that don’t run well on this device anymore. Similar to how our cell phones have worked for years now with new updates.

So basically iPad Air 5 thrashes a midrange laptop with i3 processor? If I don't have to download software off the internet ? And can suffice with online photo /video editors ? (Basic). And since the web pages now open in webview ,is it a same experience like that of a laptop while browsing??

Love my pink 256 GB iPad Air 5. Like the other comment, the iPad mini 6 is the exactly same as the air 5 and is best for people looking for something to hold in their pocket. When I was in the military I often used my mini 4 as a kindle to read because I couldn’t afford to have paper books take up so much space. I have the mini 6 with Wi-Fi only for my toddler and it definitely suits him. Year update: typing this on the aforementioned device. I still love it. I got it when it first came out in 2022 so that may be why now the battery doesn’t last as long. This is especially true when using the Freeform app which I do pretty much daily. My 5 year old now has an iPad the same size as mine, the blue 10th generation iPad which he plays games on and watches KZread kids.

Last Time, I Upgraded From A 5th Gen Budget iPad To The iPad Air 4, And WOOO, It Is The Biggest Glow Up I’ve Ever Recieved.

Just an update for anybody that's debating an iPad 9 vs air or pro. I purchased the nine and enjoyed the interface however I found it just didn't have enough storage for me and I also need to do video editing and it was slower than my iPhone 11! I upgraded to the pro 4 faster file transfer, incredible speakers and faster editing speed. All depends on your budget really.

I have the iPad Pro 6th Generation (12.9 inch) and I literally love it. I even got the keyboard case (from apple) and it’s literally the best like nothing lags and it’s never slow. It’s my laptop and drawing tablet combined and I also love to take notes on it.

I've had my iPad pro 2018 for over three years and I love it. I use it for hours, daily and it's still great

As a Literature major, I looove my Ipad mini. Great for reading, taking notes and fun for content consumption aswell.

I use my 9 for school and it’s really good for what I use it for, video calls are also usually uninterrupted unless I have a wifi issue, Ive also just got mine so im new too it. But from what I’ve seen it’s awesome lol

I bought an iPad Air 5th Gen but I might exchange it for the 2021 12.9 Pro bcuz of the Mini LED display & 120hz. Idc about all the other features

Yeah, I just got mine yesterday. I was doubting my choice, wondering if I should've gone with the air. But I'm thinking I made the right choice as I already had the 1st gen apple pencil from my 6th gen ipad. It seems great. I just want update support for a long time, as I'm not financially able to go out and buy new devices all the time like some of these people lol.

My MacBook Pro 2015 passed away in November, I had no iPad at the time either. I decided to buy an iPad Air 5 (came across a good sale for $575 256 gb, 8gb ram, taxes already included at the time), I pretty much do everything I need to on it. If I have any actual heavy task, I can either do a work around or use my work laptop. I have the Bluetooth Magic Keyboard along with the Magic Trackpad as a desktop set up whenever I need to get into actual computing work, I use my 55 inch tv monitor for that as well along with the stage manager feature. Overall no complaints.

Note from a kid: a lot of us play some games that are actually graphically demanding, so getting something like the iPad Air m1 (which I believe you can find for much cheaper now) is also a great option. And for watching videos, kids would enjoy the Liquid Retina display as opposed to the retina on the 9th gen. If you can swing it, you can find an m1 iPad Pro 12.9 for around 600, which should last them a while and is what I personally use.

i downgraded from an ipad pro to the ipad mini. having a small ipad when traveling is great.

The best iPad actually is the iPad Pro 11". It combines the power and 120Hz of the 12.9" and the size of the Air 5. 12.9" model is way too heavy and it's not great for using it without the keyboard. It is more like laptop replacement.

@@tobiasgvenus Absolutely, the price difference between M1 Air and M1 Pro is not that big, so 120Hz is the 100% way to go. Afther I bought it and sometimes switch to my MBP 13 with M1 which has a 60Hz screen it looks awful. 😄

No it isn’t a laptop replacement. The 12.9 is for artists who need the xtra space and are used to using Wacom Tablets. It’s a Tablet, no external keyboard required.

I have an 11 inch iPad Pro 2021 and it’s litterally perfect couldn’t ask for anything else on a tablet is so fast and the 120fps is so smooth great for gaming school and everything I’m typing on it rn

if you just wanna write? yes. If youre into digital art? Hell no. There is no other pencil for the iPad with tilt recognition, pressure sensitivity and lines without mechanical wobble. (and the price is the same you'd pay for a Wacom Pro Pen 2 (and no this one doesn't work on iPads), so its not even overpriced since the features are identical) Pretty crap and uneducated statement right there chief

Between iPad 9 and 10 the 9 is the better choice. It’s basically the same thing but cheaper and has a headphone jack

Cheaper is not equal to more features. The iPad (10th generation) has a 12MP rear camera and shoots 4K. Meanwhile the iPad (9th generation) has a 8MP camera and shoots 1080p. The iPad (10th generation) even supported the Apple Pencil (USB-C). While the iPad (9th generation) doesn't. The iPad (10th generation) has an A14 Bionic chip which is stronger than the A13 Bionic chip on the iPad (9th generation). Also the iPad (10th generation) has 10.9" inches of screen size while the iPad (9th generation) has 10.2". The iPad (10th generation) is lighter than the iPad (9th generation). As an artist, I was really interest in the iPad 10, buuut yeah the pen situation made me change my mind really quickly, so the 2020 iPad Air seems like the best choice but I'm worried this version is a bit old now...

I’ve recently bought almost new Air 4 and it’s so amazing. I mostly use it for making some notes, reading, social media and some apps for my work. I even could say that 64 gb is far enough for this use case (but not for games I guess). So I can highly recommend to buy this tab

I found a brand new iPad 4 air 246G for $399 at Walmart!!! Not refurbished. Brand new! To think I was about to buy the iPad 10… I still wanted the pink color though but what a steal!

This is one of the best video advices of all time in less than 2 minutes, unlike on others who kept blasting their stupid accents that I find them too corny I plan to upgrade my 8th gen to Air M1 someday

I recently got a 12.9” M1 iPad Pro in a bundle with a Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Gen 2 for $899 refurbished, which is such a good deal in my opinion. The larger Mini-LED ProMotion display is what makes it so worth it to me

Been using a first generation air (replaced my iPad 1) since the year after it came out for everything, its done everything Ive wanted it to since I was a kid with no problem

I have the pro 11 inch and I fell in love! It’s so useful for school, especially with goodnotes 6

My iPad pro 11 inch comes in tomorrow I’m so excited, and I do definitely agree the older the better for kids.

I have an Air 4 in rose gold, and I LOVE it for everything that it is

I find the iPad Air 4th gen would be more beneficial considering its price is on par with iPad 9th gen with the addition of its A14 Bionic as opposed to the iPad 9th gens A13.

I’m a psychologist and got a 9 to work on-line and it fits perfectly (to do rest i use the iPhone or MacBook). i think the others versions are need just for creation workers or heavily users :)

I have the 4th gen (bought new, like, 2 weeks before the 5th launched) and it's been amazing to this day, like, seriously.

i still use my old ipad air 2. It is still pretty good in 2023. It used to get around 45 fps on roblox (it has been 5 years i havent played it on that ipad) but i use it for work and music and it’s fast. The iPad Air 2 is still really great in 2023

My dad is a helicopter pilot, he absolutely loves iPad mini cuz it fits well in small office. He used the previous gen iPad mini for 7 years then upgraded to mini 6

I have the Air 3 I think and I love it! I use it for study notes, reading and digital art + leisure gaming!

I have the iPad 10 2022 and it’s amazing for school and work

i have the 12.9 inch, i like using this to watch movies in my room and mostly for entertainment and school, but to go out to places it’s just way too big to take to places in my opinion..

I’m thinking on buying the 10th gen. I have the mini 5 at the moment and it’s just running out very fast and is due for an upgrade. The 10th gen ones are a lot cheaper now being at £380 on sale over being £500 which was absolutely not worth it then.

My iPad Pro from 2018 is still as fast as the day I got it, soon to be 5 years ago!

I have the 10th gen and I kinda feel upset bc of the 2020 air bc it comes in better colours and can do that but I found that out after my 10th gen 😢

I recently bought a 10th gen for €600 in Germany and a random brand pen that works perfectly for about €20. It by far the best choice rn as the 10th gen was made just last year and the 9th gen is what..100 bucks cheaper? This is the way.

I would prefer an older 11 inch I pad pro anytime over the I pad air. Pro motion and quad speakers...

I have the iPad 8th Gen and use it for reading, writing, drawing, browsing, gaming, and watching videos. So… everything. Still no complaints!

Got the 9 for the kids this year, the air 2022 for my older kiddo as it was $499 on sale & she’ll utilize for school. Got myself the 11” pro because it was $549 🤷🏼‍♀️

Go for mini for taking notes reading portability

My kid has the 12.9in and does so much amazing art with hers

I‘m a student and have the iPad 9th Gen. you just called me a kid :( but when I bought mine, the 10th gen wasn’t out yet and as a student, money is always scarce. but the 9th gen still does a good job!

The best purchase i have made is the Ipad Air 4 for my school and for games and it costed me $900 and it was worth purchasing it. I am using it for about 2½ years now and it's just amazing.

I have the mini 6 and it’s really nice in my opinion. I would also recommend it for artists with smaller hands, plus, it’s cheaper. Believe me, I like to draw with it and love it
