Ty, I have to say… I found your channel while waiting on my ST to arrive, and you gave me a great head start on ideas for the bike. Since I received it: 6.5 thrashin riser, thrashin bar bag, Rockford speakers from Harley, cross thread mini floor boards, biltwell alumicore grips, Edward Richie sissy bar, tab 2.5 slip ons. Gotta say, for only having 200 miles in my bike (thanks winter), I’m loving it. I still have to do the LED conversion for turn signals, lay down license plate, and I’ve got my eye on the sdc pro saddleman seat…. But other than that… quite sure I’m going to rock it as is for awhile. I’m coming from a street glide special followed by a road king special (both great bikes)… but I’m loving the look and feel of the FXLRST. 5’8”, 175 lb frame… feels a little more at home.

Hey Ty, thanks for the video. I didn’t really care for my local dealer, but decided to go up the road to Great South Harley in Newman, GA. The team was awesome! The sales rep really cared and paid attention, wasn’t pushy, and when I told him what I was coming from and what I wanted to do, he eventually guided me towards the ST. When the ST was just hitting showroom floors I called 5 or 6 dealers and Great South was the only one not marking that model up above normal price and also not adding fees. Sales was upfront and honest on the phone. If I was buying a Harley from a dealer that's who I'd call first.
Hi from England. Thinking getting myself one of these. Concerns are;I want to do a bit of touring also and my Mrs wants to come on the back. I know I will need another seat and I guess if I’m going fully tour focused, I should get a different bike on the touring platform. Smaller roads over here, not sure I want to be bothered with the extra weight of a full on tourer. Another concern is I am quite tall at 6’2” and a lot of people complain about being a bit cramped. On the plus side, I really love the look of this bike. Good video and dig the upgrades.🙌🏻

Before the ST came out, I bought the Low Rider S with the 117. Same bike without the fairing and bags. Lighter. Power to weight ratio was great! But, I’ve been spoiled with baggers and dressers. Ty - Good video. I have about 2300 miles on my El Diablo. I like the bike, but I think Harley should add linked brakes and traction control on any bikes in this price range. I realize I paid alot more for the limited edition version. With all that torque, I have seen some back tire slippage when roads are wet. The linked brakes probably aren't needed until you are in an emergency stop situation, but I have heard many cases when that feature is important. Maybe Harley designed this bike for the crowd who wants to do burnouts and wheelies, or maybe it's just about money.

As an LR ST owner who's 6'0", 220 lbs with a 32" inseam, let me tell ya, the ST is a great bike... if you're 5'6" - 5'10". H-D needs to offer a SINGLE rider tall seat and a forward control kit that LOWERS the pegs too... maybe about 1" lower H-D *does* offer a forward control kit, but needs to be 1" lower also and be aware - the black kit and chrome kit have *drastically* different brake pedals and neither is safe, esp the back one. Also, you'll prob need to switch air cleaner to the SE Ventilator They do offer a "Tallboy" seat, but it's a 2 up and it interferes with front/top/inner part of bags, esp with rider is seated To sum up - if only H-D offered a cpl better thought out option/kits for seat and feet, the bike would be a home run

Price is a concern. Worried about shady dealerships and if they do try to rob me, I’m at least gonna get the tall screen, audio, and a seat.
My only complaint so far and coming from full baggers is the dopey ass saddle bags. I put more than a pair of gloves and sunglasses into these things and they are difficult to close. Such a bad design. Harley please make a smaller version of the top loading bags and make them the same size.

I'm 6'5" and on the predecessor to this, the Sport Glide. Granted, down on HP with the 107, cut it does also have cruise control.... and, has the bags. 3 things I recommend.... 1. forward foot pegs or floorboards.... 2. Saddlemen Explorer or something nice by LeFerra. 3. 6" risers with 2" set back, Thrashin Supply if you use existing gauges, or HD if you go with aftermarket old school round gauges. LOT of money to put into a new bike, so maybe a used 2021 Sport Glide would be a less expensive fit.

I absolutely love this bike. I currently own a Sportster S and am happy with it for now. But it is a small bike and has no wind protection which I’m realizing is becoming annoying on the free way. My only gripe that I have with the LRST is something you mentioned. The lack of technology, I hope they have this with a nice TFT screen like the one I have on my Sportster or that beautiful display on the Pan America. If they can do that, I’m sold.
