WATCH: The most important speech Jordan Peterson has ever given

In the final session of the final day of the ARC Conference, @JordanBPeterson gave the most inspiring talk we have ever heard. We encourage you, to please make time to watch this talk from beginning to end. Turn your phone off, go full screen, and let the words speak to your heart.
It has been a week of big ideas, strategic relations, and deep conversations. However, Jordan reminded us that “we have so many people in the world that are lost in ways that are nearly unimaginable” and urged all those in the room to lay aside all of our “hedonic whims”, to take up, cling to, and insist upon the divine responsibility given to us to work for the betterment of our societies. “There is no desert we can’t make bloom”.
The inaugural ARC Conference has been a special time. While those in the room were a community of senior thought-leaders from around the world, we want to allow all of you to engage fully in the ideas and speakers of the conference. We will ensure that all the talks and content are available to you, for free, here on KZread.
00:00 - 16:35 The ideas of the Conference
16:36 - 23:17 Jordan's final call to action [MUST LISTEN]

    I am a 27 year old Canadian male, and I’ve been listening to Dr.Peterson’s advice since 2019. In that time I’ve lost my mother to cancer, watched my dog get hit by a truck and killed in a freak accident, took on a new, intimidating, and challenging career, started a family by welcoming my son into the world and proposing to his mother, moved cities, and I’m beginning to feel like a real adult with complete financial independence in control of a domestic economy. If you listen to Dr.Peterson, you won’t just find the principles that guide you towards a better life but ones which also bolster and sustain you during the inevitable storms that will visit you. During the time my Mom was deteriorating with cancer, I found that I was often the strongest person in the room. My brother was not in a position to handle it all and he was older than me. I don’t know exactly where I’m going with this. I’m just infinitely grateful that someone like Dr.Peterson exists and that he earnestly broadcasts genuinely resourceful and sincere messages. Myself and my family will forever be enriched by the lessons Dr.Peterson has bestowed upon us. May God keep him safe and healthy. We have never needed someone with his messaging more than right now.

    I'm an American 35 yr old husband and father of 2 (soon to be 3) I also began listening to Jordan Peterson in 2018-19 and have seen a radical transformation in my own life in that time. My father's failing health was difficult and the future was appearing more and more dreary, but I remember listening to 12 Rules for life and other interviews, lectures, etc and hearing him make the claim that one of the highest goals you can set for yourself is to be the strongest man at your father's funeral. And I took that to heart. It helped transform my entire outlook on the situation. My father passed away last year, and I can honestly say that if I hadn't been introduced to JBP's work...there is NO WAY I would have been able to get through the difficulties of planning, communicating with family/friends and paying for my father's funeral the way that I did. And now it's a point of pride that I carry around with me everywhere I go. I am PROUD of the way I accepted my father's death, and all the subsequent ramifications that brought on me and my family. Abdication of personal responsibilities is rampant. But I refuse to continue living in that frame of mind. Pick up your burdens, and carry them willingly. That is the best path I've found towards happiness.

  • @Simply_Simian

    @Simply_Simian

    @@kylehandschin5117 “Be the strongest person at your fathers funeral” was exactly the principle I carried with me while my Mom was sick with cancer. I was the youngest child but the only one who followed Dr.Peterson’s work so I was determined to embody that principle. I had people a decade my senior relying on me for emotional resolve, which was a first for me. Hearing what you went through just provided me with a strong sense of purpose and conviction, as well as community and connection. We all struggle. We all deal with tragedies of life. It can often feel overwhelmingly isolating when you’re dealing with death and sickness. As if you’re being visited by a strange evil which is unfairly targeting you. It’s refreshing and strengthening to know that we all deal with it. I am very grateful that you shared your story and experience. Bless you, brother!

We've lost our spiritual moral compass. And God shares His glory with no one. The only way to get back what we've lost is to actually turn back to God, stop putting our faith in man, but in God alone, for only Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords and only He truly causes life-giving waters and the abundance of life to grow and thrive-even in the desert.

    I would try prayer. One thing Jordan Peterson seems to avoid is talking about Christ and prayer. Peterson only seems to understand the Bible from aJungian psychological point of view. One has to recognize that there is the prayerful communion with God through Christ. Take a Concordance and look up the word "prayer" and see how many times it's mentioned! Anyway, your "will" resides in your soul; if your soul becomes alive with the Spirit of Christ then your will also changes. Just read St. Paul's letters, that's his main theme.

    I have the utmost respect for this man. He is a WORLD treasure. May God look over him and his family in these tumultuous times. If you want to know what to look for in a future husband....just ask if he listens to Jordan Peterson and if he works to put his teachings into practice. No good, intelligent human being that actually listens to JBP can dislike his teachings. The things he discusses are deeper truths articulated in such a way that people can understand these deeper truths about themselves, mankind, life, society, God etc.... He speaks truth to power! I love that my little brother introduced me to his KZread videos so many years ago. He is easily one of the greatest minds of our time. ❤

ALL of my illnesses have gone, except for arthritis. I feel alive, energetic and excited for the future. I know who I am and I know where I’m going. When Jordan cried, I cried. I am just one of his many success stories. But most of all, I’m my own success story. Jordan was instrumental and absolutely necessary to be in my life. Nonsense. He is a vulnerable narcissist, mentally unstable, emotionally labile, clever about crying on command, in love with the sound of his own voice, a compulsive talker, a repugnant misogynist whose soft closeted Anti-female scorn of 2018 he is confident falls on arable soil in 2023 after his 5 years driving women back into their second class 1970s status which his fandom of Failed to Launch males of NeverNever Land took immense comfort in, used as an excuse and self-justification for their lack of initiative, and unmanly, babyish dependency: the war on masculinity he and the men he plagiarizes call the disturbance of traditional preferential treatment of male youth. His closet misogyny emerged into the light of day when he angrily declared he and his student researchers examined Wokeism, that great scourge to which he attributes the coming collapse of Western civilization, to 3 predictors: low educational achievement, poor vocabulary, and FEMALE. Sure they did, and their scientific experiment ended peer reviewed, as rooted in reality as his 97% Agreeableness rating on the 5 Aspects personality test HE DESIGNED, WROTE and TOOK to pass with flying colours to counter the growing public fedback criticism telling what an angry, unpleasant, bullying DISAGREEABLE man he is. I have caught him telling so many lies that I have no regard for him at all. Keeping up with his lies wears a person out. The sooner this failed psychologist but master manipulator leaves Canada for the USA to pursue his new calling as a celeb grifter, huckster, gadfly political analyst and colossal gossip, the better off will be Canada, the "kingdom of 'god'", Revelation 21 and 22. But nobody tell him that because in his present grandiose Faustian delusion that he, an "EXPERT in the field", is uniquely anointed to explain the MIND of the Divine, First Cause, Universal Soul, Prime Energy, "Word of God", El•Sheba, the Logos, ... he may link back the too late discovery to himself and delare himself God. He sowed the seeds of HIS vision to rule the world in his monopolistic yap-yap-yapping on comic Theo Von's podcast. He copycatted Raelian cult leader Raël/Rael's vision of Earth governance by a geniocracy, a leadership by geniuses. PeterPANson aped the idea 💡 with his blueprint to select that 2% of 8B people who are geniuses and set them to work solving all the world's problems. We can guess who will be this poltical body's self-appointed Overseer/mentor/final voice in this government of Geniuses, none other than he himself, PeterPANson. His stolen alien 👽 Raelian 'vision' this Canadian charlatan misappropriates from Claude Maurice Marcel Vorilhon, sports-car journalist and test driver for his car-racing magazine. In the aftermath of a purported extraterrestrial encounter in December 1973, this French lunatic later published several books, which detail the encounter with a being called Yahweh, the Hebrew name for the OT tribal god 10,000 years bygone when thieving, marauding warrior-chieftains decided to make their little tribal god in their own masculine imagine while terminating the female creatrix, El•Sheba. Making a career outside his field of expertise, as a critic of everything that falls within his smug superior visual perimeter, PeterPANson does not however include the slightest mention how he, Faustian overreacher, plans to override Toxic Masculinist Patriarchal leaders, ayatollahs, dictators, ruthless subhuman barbarians who are perfectly content with how THEY RULE their people with iron fists, pour money into murder-military- industrial complexes to preserve masculinist POWER OVER others, and brutalize the lives of women. Does this politically and socially naive ultra-ambitious dilettante think there will be no opposition to his geniocracy taking over because he has unilaterally opined "Toxic Masculinism" does not exist, therefore stripping males of the POWER OVER which men love will be easy? Simply because this solipsistic, unoriginal, plagiarizing non-thinker declares there is no such thing as (fill-in-the-blank), the extant regrettable reality that harms us all disappears on his nervous self-conscious twirl of his wedding band? The world's brutal strongmen will capitulate to the will of eristic arguer, misogynist, carnival huckster PeterPANson? By all means, you and millions of other gulls and rubes and non-thinkers keep shelling out money to feed this messianic narcissist's horrendous dictatorial ego, for as the mantra tells it: a fool and his money are soon parted. People have made this cretin so rich he can look healthy with LA spa spray-on tans at $40 every 8 -10 days to appear on comic Bill Maher's platform where he two-facedly vilifies 6,372,000 Torontonians by gossipy comment 1/2 are mindless sheep who will placidly wear anti-Covid face masks forever and the others 1/2 who would do the same to hide their identity in order to preserve anonymity while ratting out their neighbours. He likens his Toronto community to snitches, stoolies, rats, stool pigeons, donoschi of Russia, German informeller a.k.a. Mitarbeiterinformeller Mitarbeiter who collaborate with political authority. After his high-and-mighty intrusion, his trespass into the PMO's emergency planning Jan-Feb 2022 while ELECTED officials dealt with nihilistic occupancy of Parliament Hill, it surprises this PeterPANson was not charged with public mischief along with Tara Lich and Barber. Imagine the gargantuan EGO of a male who thinks he can usurp, and supplant the job parameters of a PM, his advisors, the RCMP, Municipal Police and Child Protecttion Services! What a pri ... nce of a fellow. He shares many traits with a strong man dictator he admires, one who HAD A VISION that lasted a "Thousand Years".

    Mobs both woke and antiwoke do a lot of harm to good people and good ideas. But whaddya gonna do? 99.9% of it is just people making comments online. We have to somehow become immune to it, ignore it - but online media depends on it and encourages it, and human nature can't help but buy into it - from both sides. We've created a monster, a dragon that nobody knows how to slay. What scope for heroes when the best we can do is just ignore the dragon?

    I first came across JP in 2020 during the plandemic, I was in my tiny room in Nigeria, completely miserable and shocked at the betrayal I got from many who I thought were my friends who abandoned me during my darkest moments..JP words flew through the miracle of the internet and helped me set my life in perspective. Now I have relocated to the UK,I gave up every vestiges of FEMINIST ideology that almost destroyed my God given role as a woman. I am still on the path to a better future and extremely grateful to JP. you can never know just who your words can change..God bless you abundantly.

    I hear you JP. You struck so many chords with that speech. We all need to embrace sacrifice and service even in the quotidian, as hard as it may seem with the pressures we all face, and move away from the cult of self. Because if we do, then together, by reorienting, we can tilt the axis back towards peace and hope for the future.

    I've heard Jordan speak, but this is so profound. We can learn a lot from the kid and the messy room. In aiming for the better good in the world, let us start by making the tiniest of changes in our lives. Small as they may be, but they are capable of turning our lives around.

    This has brought me to tears. As someone who teaches early years; teaching them these exact things: to share, to lay the table in the home corner, to say sorry and please, it has affirmed everything that we do for the little ones and their families. Equally I care for my mother with Alzheimers: the greatest honour as someone who nurtured and cared for her 6 children, moulding us to be professionals who care for others. Most of all she gave me the greatest gift of all: faith in a loving God, saved by Jesus the greatest hope we have. You are an amazing man and have saved a generation I'm sure.
