I have student in my class that was born deaf. He is one of the most humble and loving children I have taught.❤❤❤❤ The hearing aid does help, but because he is in a normal school environment he struggles to hear certain sounds. So his mum got for him a cochlear implant speaker which shuts out all the sound around him, and he was able to hear me clearly. Oh and academically he is Brilliant in math. He loves working silently on his own. ❤❤❤❤❤

OMG I can't watch this for very long. I'm already crying at the first smile. I'm so soppy about babies in general and to see this precious little one get the gift of sound is too much for me to not weep. Many, many praises to the people who helped this little soul - and others - to have a better life. God bless this family and the clinical workers.

I appreciate that this family first spoke to her gently and softy. I just watched like 5 other of these videos where the family just started basically shouting & scared the baby.

I am sure the mother would have done anything to fix her baby's hearing issue. The only true selfless love among human beings is a mother's love for her child. Hope no child will be born with any disabilities in the future with the help of advanced medical science. The baby's smile after hearing for the first time consolidates the faith in humanity. Babies are truly angels. They make us realise why we should be good to each other.
