Watch SpaceX launch a Falcon Heavy with the X-37B secret spaceplane!

Ғылым және технология

SpaceX will launch the X-37B space plane to a currently unknown orbit for the United States Space Force (USSF). This flight will mark the seventh overall launch and fourth for this vehicle (Vehicle 2), and will be launched atop SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy. Following launch, both side boosters will be recovered downrange and the center core will be expended.

I certainly hope SpaceX develops a special man-rated Starship with less payload, but having crew ejection capsules or a detachable nose in case of second stage (Starship) failure. Putting crew inside the Second Stage (directly above the fuel tanks) is worse than the Shuttle. Also, thank you for live streaming this. I simply do not even want to be connected with Twitter / X anymore. Elon has done so many nutty things in recent years, I have really ambiguous feelings toward him. On the one hand, he is doing great things for humanity. One the other, he has fallen down an Alt-Right rabbit hole and he channels the worst of humanity. We definitely DON'T need him to be the dictator of the Mars colony. It would become a living hell.

Could you do a comparative study of all the rockets from the Apollo program to starship going to the moon and back. Apollo used one set of rockets to get there, do their thing and come back. SpaceX at this point is going to need several refills to do the same thing. Obviously they used two different fuels, and maybe that's the problem unless SpaceX can increase the efficiency of the plasma burn and eliminate the refueling. That might require a rocket combo of atomics and magnetics to contain the heat of a more complete plasma burn, which is currently being researched by some outfit. But, what if SpaceX built some larger engines and used fewer of them? Would that stretch the fuel enough for a round trip?

It explodes on impact, if it hasn't burned up at all already, they don't landing burn it. Maybe they disconnect and parachute the engines. We don't know why they hate the booster itself so much, but those 9 engines would still be worth something better than at the bottom of the ocean. There might be an incredible graveyard playground out in the Mid-Atlantic now for scuba divers if they do any sort of re-entry burns to try to give deep Sea Life a show.

Parachutes are lightweight and those boosters aren't filled to the brim for most missions. Oh and another thing you hateful red-headed Karen libs need to stop trying to hate and cancel everyone.
