@paulgodfrey6559 The explanation for the absence of stars in the video is that it is the filters of the ISS digital cameras, due to solar radiation. Due to the exposure to which the cameras are regulated and also, depending on whether the Earth and the Moon are in the shots, the light from these in the thermosphere, opaque like the Sun to our daytime sky (although the sky there looks dark). don't be ignorant please do some research and study, OK?

Why I can't see any stars

If they would use a camera that is sensitive enough to see the stars, the screen would look like a big white flash. You wouldn't see nothing. There's too much light in contrast to dark space. The earth, the rockets, the equipement, reflecting light on solar panels. You could film all the stars in space, but you wouldn't be able to see anything else, like this docking procedure, which is the purpose. Every camera has it's use.. These where not for filming stars and planet.

@@parraeels1990 I’m not too experienced in this area, but he took investor dollars from SpaceX and Tesla (money they couldn’t afford to give away) to help bailout Solar City (which he is on the board for with his brother), but that is against SX policies. SX investors got pissed and wanted to be paid back, so in order to satisfy SpaceX investors, he used Tesla to buyout Solar City knowing it would eventually be insolvent.
