what do you mean? they are are having live fire exercises WHILE the targets are still at sea to deter them from going ashore. this training is for land based defensive troops and arsenal since you can't have all your assets (matter of fact we don't have enough assets) deployed at sea

I suggest to expand the balikatan and not limit it to the armed forces alone, I suggest to invite the british armed forces over specifically the S.A.S and S.B.S to train PNP in urban warfare as well and also make it open to civilians so everyone can be combat effective, able to counter insurgent or occupiers and be able to coordinate well with all branches of our armed forces within our cities..

This place is ideal for the Philippines & US, to build a fortified Bunker zone, a watch tower, and a preliminary defense line against any intruder. Equipment with long Range sniper Rifles, Howitzers & at least 3 Himars to guard the place & prevent Chinese surveillance ships coming into Benham Rise.... Going down to Mindanao area.
