Bro the triple jump at 13:21 had me so ridiculously hyped. Mario does it again at the end of the movie, when he's got the power star.

Damn rob really came with the energy for this movie. Cant remember the last time he put together a sentence that didn't sound like a long mumble lmao 🤣

That “Peaches” song sure went hard when Bowser went into Tenacious D Mode!

14:16 "She don't like you, bro, why you always capturing her?" I've seen Bowser in this movie described as an "incel", and honestly, I think that descriptor fits. Bowser is infatuated with Peach, but doesn't actually care about her as a person. He also only cares about winning her over and no one else; everyone, from the Toads to his own army, is just a means to win her over. In fact, the biggest indicator that Bowser doesn't truly "love" and is merely attracted to her is the fact that he does things that he THINKS will impress Peach, not anything that would actually make him more appealing to Peach. Indeed, when Peach rejects him (twice), he blames MARIO for things not working out and not the fact that he, oh, I don't know, tortured Toad right in front of her to force her hand in marriage and then proceeded to try and sacrifice a bunch of prisoners "in her honor" as if she'd actually want that. Actually, that's a moment I actually find really fascinating, like Bowser attempts to sacrifice a bunch of prisoners in Peach's honor because that's something HE thinks would be cool, and when Peach gets mad, he seems legitimately flabbergasted, like he doesn't understand why she wouldn't appreciate this honor. This leads to one of the funniest moments in the movie, where Peach says "did you really think I'd marry you?!" and Bowser's just like "...Kinda!" Bowser being in love with Peach is an angle some of the games and even certain comics have toyed with, but I really like what this movie does with it, because it helps show how toxic Bowser's "love" for Peach really is

Incel wouldn't describe Bowser since incels problems is not getting any partner at all, Bowsers problem is him not getting a specific person he's obsessed with, he's closer to a stalker or stan. Also incel is a very overused online word at this point, an overused cringy buzzword.

Bro this movie had every right to go this hard. It may be a bit fast but DAMN it was the most fun I’ve had watching a movie in years. Chris Pratt be clutching this year

I can relate to Wellz. My Aunt Lucy would be on her Gameboy advance at the time, playing super Mario world all the time. I personally grew up and got introduced to gaming through Donkey Kong, Mega man and Metroid on Super Nintendo.

the songs used were perfect too, all classics that fit the scenes

It was a great 8/10 movie The pacing was a bit fast but everything else was incredible

Same thing here watching 2nd Time since me & my brother watched it in IMAX (2D)but no 3D,so I decided to watch it in 3D 4DX for the first time!!!! What A ride!!!!! I'm used to watching mov in 3D, IMAX 3D or IMAX but 4dx was different wow!!!!

You can tell from the opening scene that this movie was made BY Mario fans FOR Mario fans! Jack Black absolutely stole the show in this movie! There is a great clip IGN made where they took the scene of Bowser singing and replaced the song with Tenacious D’s **** Her Gently!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Whether you grew a lifelong fan of Mario or just a casual fan, this movie is SO MUCH FUN!! I can’t understand why anyone would give this movie a negative review! Is it perfect, no. Could they have shown more of Luigi, yes. But it does something I have always had a complaint about, and that’s finally make Princess Peach NOT the damsel in distress. I hope they make her like this in future games. Plus who else after watching this movie had a strong and uncontrollable urge to play Mario Kart?😂😂😂 And for people who complain that Chris Pratt barely changed his voice for Mario I have two questions. 1) Would you really want Chris Pratt or the original voice actor (Charles Martinet, who already has multiple cameos in this movie) to do the thickest and let’s face it incredibly offensive Italian accent ever, THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE?!?!? 2) How can you complain about Chris Pratt barely changing his voice when Charlie Day (who absolutely killed it) did nothing for Luigi? Also I hope we get more of the Existential Dread Star Lumalee in the future! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
