Every NYC mayor wears suits. I'd respect him wearing pajamas if he could revoke bail reform, convince DA Bragg to actually prosecute. John Miller correctly told Erica Hill (CNN) that criminal migrants go on crime sprees in NYC and party in Florida, then return to NYC because they KNOW they'd be arrested (and prosecuted) in Florida. NYC crime was lowest in the last 40-50 years when a mayor, DA & PC were on the same page.

@BenDover-ed4rm Agreed on DA office. City Council is also responsible. With bail reform, I've heard it from guys who went through the system themselves. They're not trying to go where they got high bail to worry about or places that "don't play." This bail reform is just like desk appearance tickets (disappearance tickets), they don't show up, and it encourages further criminal activity. Even out on bond, guys are out doing dumb, BUT they're aware of that "violation of pretrial release" that can no bond them. That does adjust behavior. Temporarily.
