As one of those who voted out Truss, you can thank us all later 😅 Hope everyone's enjoying the first full week with Tories in government in over 14 years 🎉 🎉

My hat comes off to you! You did more good in the national interest with that vote, than the Tories did in 14 years of government!

Conservative members gave her briefly as our PM to bankrupt the country because she was an MP. Thank you, you made sure this time she is not an MP so the wrong options are not on the table for people to make mistakes again! Yet Rishi is unpopular by picking up the pieces 🤔

Zoe's analysis of Reform at the end is on point and accurate!

You forgot to mention that the Labour vote went down without Corbyn and Starmer's vote was nearly halved, hardly a vote for a new government!

Labour should thank Reform for splitting the Right wing vote. Without Reform Labour would not have got a full majority. You can't ignore the fact that many in the right wing didn't vote Sunak due to his skin colour.

She behaved arrogantly as it were she is the genius (bankrupted the country) and her voters made a mistake. Just like she thought all economists were wrong and she was right! Utter madness, people like her wants to serve the country.

It's not the highest vote share for Lib Dem but it's the highest no of MPs in over a century.

Reform got her. This may be the only decent thing Reform ever does.

Looking in from the US it doesn’t seem like Reform hs as much support as the vote shares would make it seem. While I was watching the results come in it was surprising how many people were talking about tactically voting Reform (even Labour supporters) because they felt Labour was already guaranteed the win. If Labour actually does well I wouldn’t be surprised if they loose their seats next time around when people actually like Starmer and want to vote for them.

In five years, parties wanting PR should use tactical voting to elect a government that wants to implement a properly democratic voting system.

Lol, tactical voting down south, need to cure them of their Stockholm syndrome first. I still hear them say that Boris was "not that bad", when he let thousands die while stealing billions. The English are lost, this vote won't change what they believe, what they supported for decades, nor what they have done to this country

Or, maybe Nigel's read his history and, as a solid "Far Right" guy, took some pointers from a fellow Far Right guy in the 1930s. You guys remember him, right? Funny moustache? Austrian? Heard he was a failed painter. Got a few seats in the 1930s Reichstag of the Weimar Republic-era Germany. People thought they could make use of the chap. Some of the establishment probably thought bringing him and his party of "national socialists" in would neuter them as well. You never now with people and voters. There's a BBC ep on a Wales neighborhood where one lady said without batting an eye that Rishi Sunak was okay and another who said he voted for Farage the last time but now thinks he isn't all that great.

If you're going to continue to repackage each podcast as multiple shorter videos, then I may have to unsubscribe. Seeing "new" content on my Subscriptions feed only to realise it is just part of a video I already watched is getting old really quickly.

Disappointing that you didn’t talk about the unprecedented number of independent candidates who unseated Labour over the issue of Gaza.

Disappointed that you only care about things you care about and expect other people to give attention to things you care about because you care about them. The world is muuuuuich bigger than the things you care about. Grow up.
