Those look like NGK V-Power Cooper plugs. They’re about $1.50 a plug, you might have spent more on the cleaning solution.. And cleaning them doesn’t regrow the electrode…

The short version of my answer ! You are absolute right ! Well done ! Perfect ! But if you like to controll the combustion ... have a closer look at the ceramic of the center electrode look for ceramic cracks and clean with tower and brass brush install the still udsble spark plugs Dont wait to long and buy new spark plugs. See how many torque the plug need. See rhe rust. That is no rust ! It is ceramic to outide sealing by NGK (and maybe rust). These spark plug have a gas leak and need to be replaced. See NGK webpage. AliMECH have to learn first car mechanic.

Lol, I just did that with a bunch of plugs I had laying in my toolbox. Just curious. I tested them in my lawnmower to see which ones were ok and then put them aside for spares. I wouldn't use them for tuning up my car, but they're good for having around to diagnose small engine issues. When you don't have a lot of money, every penny counts.

No see NGK webpage or Denso webpage or learn car mechanic at a really good school.. But yes I clean sometimes well spark plug with a brass brush. Often it is better to use new spark plugs. You wrote as good as new ? Ok you have to learn a lot. The flash like sharb metal edges and there the electric field is extreeeem strong and the flash jump easy. Old spark plugs have rounded edges at the center electrode. Forget these spark plug an buy a new one. you have to learn a little bit mor of quality work in car mechanic. Even if you work in a car garage. The US guys are not well trained and spend years at a car mechanic school. I know it better, but still not perfect for raceing cars. But Porsche or BMW or Audi and spark plugs well premium high level education at top world level. Ok it was a long long time ago but I still look at the fingers from young car mechanics.

No first towel for the dirt/oil than think why ther is rust ! Tust an sealing from inside say NGK You need new spark plugs. The sealing from inside to ouside is worse. (=Broken insdie ceramic or often to many torque?) Less rust or no rust ! You can clean it with towel, than brass brush. Ok break cleaner spray and twist the thread in a towel . But only of the center electrode have nearly still a sharp edge for the spark and the ceramic around have no cracks. Have a closer look at the colour of the combustion dirt. The only reason why I have often a look at my spark plugs. ok gap control and be careful if you regap ... Very careful ! Finsh with break cleaner spray Ready But always remember = new spark plugs are cheap and nice for the engine. A old 2nd hand scrap yard engine ... Remember = Torque must fit ! Not to many torque (and not to less). See NGK webpage Done good work Ultrasonic is not necessary. Yes, you can write overkill.

Possible, but I dont think so. The guy AliMECH possible got a gerneral purpose 40 kHz ultrasonic cleaner. For mechanical prt to high frequency , but i will work and the buyer will be happy. He dont know it better and never will know it in his life. Around 60 kHz (or little higher) and you get softer cleaning and smaler imploding bubbles. Best for small parts than can break. But for electronic boards with electronic part mounted you will be safer to use above 60 kHz upto 80 kHz and under 100 kHz. But why ou clean a spark plug with ultrasonic ? First mechanical with a brass brusch. Than very short with a 400 sand paper the isolator (only get the dirt away but not perfect away ! One start and you work is ...) than use break cleaner to flush the brush dirt f out of the small gap at the center ceramic to the plug metal part. Gently use compress air . Ready ! You dont need to produce a like new spark plug ! On rev up with a cold engine ... i dont need to clean with ultrasonic. Towel, brass brush, break cleaner spray = Ready ! Have a close look at the center electrode. Nice sharp edge = well you can use it If the spark plug is older the gap will be worde 8you have to know how to adjust without get contakt to the chenter electrode and the ceramic ! One unvidible crack ... Really no good idea ! The center eletrode will be rounded by lost of center electrode metl FORM THE EDGE. Ask electronic enigneers or physic students for electrostatic field. Or use KZread or google. Than you know that the electric field strength is very strong at a sharp edge. Tound edge is worde and you can start think to buy new spark plugs. These are not expensive ! You gasoline and your engine and you O2-sensor and your catalytic is expensiv. By the way if the spark plug fall at the floor, the ceramic WILL be BAD from the center electrode. A plug for the bin. IF your engine it a lot of dollar worth check new spark plugs after 200 miles if the ceramic is complete and not broken (parts will go from the combustion chamber (hope your cylinder wall is still ok) to the catalytic. Oh dear if Milligramm ceramic hit the turbo at 80000 RPM. Even a small one with nearly no weight. Often nothing will happen ! Sparkplug with floor contact is possible at your part dealer. And at your garage.

The primary reason to change plugs nowadays is erosion of the electrode, not simply being dirty. A set of 4 good plugs is like $40, you’d have to buy an ultrasonic cleaner and have a very low paid tech baby sit them to just barely come out ahead. Not worth it at all, just replace.

Replace is always the best way. These simple parts ... But the truth is that a guy have to know a lot of thinks ... Not only the gap distance and the colure of the ceramic around the center electrode. Remember = DO not use to many torque ! See the forst spark plug. That is no rust. It is sealing from inside. Often to mutch torque. Am I wrong ? See NGK webpage ans spend time ! Spark plugs can have inside a unvisible crack. This is the 2nd reason to see rust (=sealing and maybe rust). You and I are not able to find the reason. Spark plugs are cheaper than a 2nd used scrap yard engine. Yes in my youth I ignored the rust and cleaned it. Nothink happend. NGK or Bosch know what they write better than you. They dont need to sell some more spark plugs because you are careful. Again buy new spark plugs.

Why! if those plugs are $$$$ then yes. But from my point of view it just made them look pretty on the out side. That shit don't. matter. Now having a clean insulator inside and out is. Also having the proper spark gap. Also not having a breaks down of the internal electrode as well. I did period paint on a 14 cly GE Genbacher engine. Those plugs were $500.00 each. Yes I cleaned them and recapped them. And rand them for 1 week and put an inductive probe on the coil. And looked at the wave form. The last operator just replaced them and tossed them into 5 gallon bucket breaking the insulator. Each one of those plugs had a .5 gram block of pure platinum. I made bank recovering that.

I look at the spark plug because I like to the the combustion result. Not for cleaning a spark plug. But if I compared all spark plugs, than I can clean it. Towel, brass brush, breakcleaner spray = ready Ok sometime I controll the gap distance. But TRUE = If there is no sharp edge at the center electrode, than I think if thise is the end-of-life-time for the spark plug. No ultrasonic is really needed. Ok have a cloder look at the ceramic around the center electrode. No cracks ! You see rust at the spark plug ? See video ! Often the plug installes with to many torque. There is a leak between outside ceramic ang plug metal. Or inside a crack. This is often no rust. It is the sealing. These plugs are worse and often worse because of the guy with the wrench and no torque in his fingers or a torque wrench. Sorry truth ! See spark plug webpages and learn. You can not find these information ? Worse page look for PDF from NGK. You will find these addition information. The spark plug face in the combustion chamber is not erverythink you have to know and control.
