As others have commented, Only Golden Age or Interagency senior/access pass holders get the half price discount...a regular Annual national Park pass does not.

You are correct. When I worked an entrance at Yellowstone we called them "geezer passes".

What a nice surprise, those turkeys! That one in front was showing off like a peacock! 😆What a nice path system down to the falls...love how clear the creek is. I do wish they'd remove the downed trees, but I guess that wouldn't be as natural. If you like crystal clear water, check out Devil's Lake (in Deschutes National Forest) next time you're in Central Oregon - it's 3-10' deep and you can see the bottom everywhere, even from a distance. I took a rubber boat out on it one year and just spent hours looking over the edge and seeing all the fish doing fish things. Heads up: the water can be extremely cold, seeing as how it's basically fresh out of the mountains.

re: flowers. i took a course in forensic identification and from the high quality pics you are delivering. i can say that the flowers were picked and placed there by a 8 year girl with red hair and blue jeans she had a ribbon in her hair. she was with her mom and dad and 3 dogs. that was 32 hours ago. the bottle she found it and wanted to spruce the place up and that was her way. ☺

Thanks for sharing!! When I'm at a truck stop in AL, it has a area we are only allowed to park at and the ditch there always has water in it! I wear "Deep Woods Off" to bed even, it's that bad!! Or suffer the consequences of being eaten up all the time I am parked there!!

It’s such a gorgeous area. Got to explore that area one day last fall. Crater Lake is worth the visit when it opens. Breathtaking! There are many falls on Hwy 138. Don’t miss Toketee Falls. Enjoy your adventures.

Just found your channel, Love your videos. Have you ever weighed the van at those free weighing stations or talked about the mpg cost? I'm trying to plan for my future an your early videos are a great help.

I've never weighed my van at a weigh station. But I know I am only at 1/3 of the payload capacity of this van. I used very lightweight materials 👍
