I've been using Clarity for quite a while now and I don't trade it for anything else.

I hate green water, I had an outbreak in my planted tank a couple weeks ago, and because I have crustaceans in it, algeacide wasn’t an option. Had to battle it for weeks to get the water cleared. Thanks for spreading this info.

It's one of the worst algae problems to try to solve! Clarity isn't a miracle solution, but it has majorly sped up the process.

Will this work for slightly cloudy water... just alittle cloudy?

Absolutely not... this stuff sucks! Use Acurel-F for slightly cloudy water... UV light for green water.

is it normal for seachem clarity to be a rusty colour in the bottle or should it be clear?

Nice info however how about getting rid of green water without spending a penny! Welljust cover all sides of of aquariums winclidimg top such that no light penetrates the aquarium. In 4-5 days green water will disappear as if it never existed. This is natural way to get solve it. Block light and see the magic.

Clarity is a horrible product. I love seachem products but this stuff is straight ass. Use a UV light for green water and Acurel-F for generally/slightly cloudy water.

It’s important to note that to use clarity effectively you also need to use fine mechanical filtration and address the conditions that promote algae growth. It doesn’t kill algae directly, but will join with it to form larger particles that filtration can remove
