She used to have a sitcom where they was beloved. Then she came out ,dropped off the radar for a while, but came back due to her niceness. yeah true. no one should scare people like that when they know that its their biggest fears. it can cause really bad trauma. i myself have been traumatized since from what happened in my childhood.

She’s always been a bully. I don’t know how people were so blind to it for so long. A friend of mine was a comedy writer for her in about 2012. She said she was horrifically mean & wouldn’t allow anyone to look her in the eyes.

I mean that was a serious screw up on behalf of the Ellen Show to not know what Shutterfly was giving the girl. While she was wrong to take the extra item Ellen's staff should have confronted her off camera about the theft. But Ellen's thing is cruelty. Some of the guests seem pretty jerky. The actress who decided that Jennifer Lopez was at one time the sexiest man alive and starred in Ocean's 11 seems pretty clueless herself. I don't feel sorry for her. Ellen can be jerky apparently and has had some intellectual and ethical failings but that wouldn't be one.

I went to her show once- oddly enough it was her 1000’s show ( so we ended up with some great swag ). Even being we had no idea at the time it was the 1000 show. However, the rules they give people prior to sitting down is long! But honestly I’ve never was a huge fan! I think she’s passive aggressive with her guest! And makes fun of people!

Ellen was the highest paid jerk in TV. It was so obvious that she was a horrible person. Especially when she did that to Channing Tatum. That was so cruel, so rude. I'm glad she's finally seen for the jerk she truly is.

Whatever else might be said about this, Channing Tatum did not appear to me to be especially bothered. Real fear of the kind experienced in very threatening situations would have had the guest getting up and running for their lives. As for Ellen being horrible or scary, she's always been easy to watch and listen to - quite a soft toy for a TV presenter. Scary with a doll? Not convinced. Quite a lot of people have never experienced real fear and go to water completely when they do. That's not happening here. I suggest calling Ellen "TV's highest paid jerk". is completely out of line and perhaps a "troll". Whatever, it's all ancient history now.

Ellen has done things to guests that are outright illegal. No means No Ellen. A couple guests wanted and I heard actually did sue her show.

Just subscribed....and LOVED this very entertaining video!!! (though I did feel bad for Channing Tatum as Ellen relentlessly tormented him......I have some serious phobias and would FREAK out if confronted with something like, say a tarantula (supposedly harmless, but nonetheless, huge and ugly and terrifying!!) I've had people persistently try to "de-sensitize" me to a fear by exposure to that fear......it's not for this gal ❣😆😉😊 ❤

I have phobias and if she put them in my face, I’d probably end up in custody.

I hope her phobia gets outed and everyone surprises her randomly with it to match all the times she did it to others and enjoyed herself in her perverse and cruel way. I got home late a couple of months ago and saw a shadow on the door across the room. As I cautiously investigated my fear was confirmed... huntsman spider. A very dark coloured one that was large sized. I was about to get the spray and fly swatter when it saw me and compressed its body against the door it was on then sprang right off the wall towards me!!! I nearly died! I ran for the spray keeping my eye on it and began spraying it as soon as I had the can in my hand moving forward to close in on it.... and it started trying to get away.... it ended up going under the door into a bedroom so I sprayed along the whole door frame and under the bottom in particular. The body was found the next day. That's what they get if they try to enter my space!!!!!

The Channing Tatum scene kinda reminds me of the catchphrase “No means no”, which seems to be only valid for women, right? And the people laughing, are eerily reminiscent of those who wouldn't bat an eye if they saw a male getting assaulted or victimized by a woman. But on the other hand: “Don't you dare look at a woman, or you're going to jail”. Great world we're living in, ain't it?

And I wanted clarify one thing from my comment, I was hinting at cultural acceptance for that slogan “No means No” when it's a woman saying it to man, but often neglects to extend the same courtesy to men. If you've ever seen the social experiments, you know in the first try men seemingly abuse women in public to gauge people's reactions, and then on the second go women abuse men in the same settings. You might've noticed there's always a disparity in how people react, if they do at all and the intensity of their interventions when the male is the victim. So my intent was merely to point out the hypocrisy in the cultural perception of what is acceptable in terms of gender equality.
