Proximity fuse explode if they reach anywhere near an aircraft and dont need to hit directly.Aircraft looks like a Su25 ground attack Aircraft which is heavily armored to take such hits.

Kagame should seek to reconcile his people and share power between Tutsi and Abahutu instead of continuing to look for problems in Congo which will have very serious consequences for his country.

I do not agree with Congo. The Rawanda missile was fired almost straight up and I presume missile launcher must be in Rawanda space which clearly proves prima facie that Congo violated air space of Rawanda.
