To lay devils advocate, I don't think they mean that the other person who was hit was fake. I think before we knew who it was they believed it was possible that the shooter was hired under false pretenses and to make it look good, innocent person be damned. I don't think they are right because I don't understand why they would go through the trouble, he was already leading and it would just get worse for Biden as time passes. Even if people didn't vote for Trump before today was going to get 72 million votes no matter what. Biden probably lost 5 million votes just from the debate alone and I am being generous with the 5 million loss. So Trump could have won the election even if he got fewer votes than he did last time. After today he likely gained 4 million more. This kid has by himself made a sure bet into a guarantee.

For those that say this is staged....you are all terrible human beings. 2 people are dead and 2 are critically injured. Put politics on hold for a second and show some respect.

Saying it was staged does not take away from respect for dignity of people's lives. Shooter should have not missed, thats what most people are saying, or at least thinking. Taking him out can save millions, if not billions of lives, do you understand that? I used to laugh at some of your stuff. Today I really genuinely respect your even handed response. I don't hold any agreement with you on politics, I was 'in the trenches' around 2016 with you. I was a Sargon guy ha ha. But really I have found you guys, while having views I consider tremendously bad & I'm sure you think the same of me, are genuine. That goes a long way. Even cenk out here saying President Trump

This was not staged to help Trump. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’m hearing. A man was shot dead in the head and two people are critically injured. The shooter intended to kill trump, and because of the distance and the fact that trump was moving, the shooter missed. One thing we don’t know is whether there was another shooter because an interview with a congressman or a senate candidate that was there, I can’t remember, said bullets were coming from different directions.

I'm not a big fan of this man but I have to say I truly respect him now to put aside his political differences and to call it like he saw it. I feel the same when I saw what happened It was the most amazing display of courage I think I've ever seen from a president and especially someone with everything to lose that put his country and voters before his own safety.

Thank you Cenk for keeping politics out of this and just giving your honest opinion. I'm a lifelong Republican and I hate Biden with a passion. But never in a million years would I wish death upon him just because he doesn't see the world the same way that I do.
