The talking, closeouts with arms high, and starting high stood out to me

Awesome drill, but he should have the guys on offense make better passes when they skip it. The team on defense could have easily stole some of those weak passes. This drill should go both ways

Tombstone Dreams actually when they do this drill... One must not try to steal the ball...

liansangpuia ralte ... Yeah, but a defensive drill gets taken up a notch when you can work on offense, too.

Tee No, because it’s always more important to play defense than trying to steal the ball. Stealing the ball is not defense.

I feel like it would be way to easy to steal the ball in this drill no matter how good the passes of the offense were...The offensive players can't move and the defense is practicing perfect gap and help defense. It would be hard not to steal the ball...

Coaches will often start with no-steals to get the footwork done correctly (more drill time)... then once that happens add the 'live' option for defensive steals. Coaching requires layering of drills... get the fundamentals solid.. then build on top of that solid base.
