Hello Brenda, a common side effect of the drug as reported during the drug research is headache, I wasn’t able to retrieve any information as to how long the headaches last but it shouldn’t be lingering for a long period as it is not a severe side effect.

I am not aware of any oral yeast infection medication over the counter, as most antibiotic medications such as fluconazole are sold as prescription drugs. On the other hand, Monistat also known as Miconazole is a good vaginal insert sold over the counter that can be used for yeast infection treatment.

Hello 👋🏽, The recommended dosage of DIFLUCAN for oropharyngeal candidiasis is 200 mg on the first day, followed by 100 mg once daily. Clinical evidence of oropharyngeal candidiasis generally resolves within several days, but treatment should be continued for at least 2 weeks to decrease the likelihood of relapse.
