Watch before buying the TW200 Yamaha! Q&A's with the TW200

SPOILER ALERT: All I do in this video is talk! But, that being said, I have gone through all my previous videos and found all the questions that I feel could be answered with a video! I want this to be an open discussion video about Yamaha TW200. If you have any insight on anything that is brought up, please put it in the comment section so we can make this little bike even better for each of us. I hope you find this helpful. If there are any questions that we can discuss about the Yamaha TW200, let's take care of it.

I just bought a 2021 TW200. It's my 4th one. I had a 2007, then i bought 2 in 2009 one for me and one for my wife and i ride 11000 kilos in ONE months. I love those bike even though i have a Harley and a Kawasaki 1979 twin 750... TW200 are awesome and reliable and as confortable as my Harley...surprisingly

That is Awesome!! That is a ton of miles in one month! I have a Harley as well and I love riding the Tdub just as much as the Harley! I am jealous that you have a 2021 TW. I have been talking with my local dealer and he has only seen 2 of them come in and they were paid for in July so he says that I am next on the list when he gets more. It's a fun little bike. I do wheelies, small jumps, and technical single track all year in Nova Scotia. No worries about pinch flats, or digging ruts. Not too fast but any faster offroad would be dangerous as both tires can drift at top speed on dirt.

Ride along like 25-30 mph and it sucks them up just fine with my weight. My ONLY issue is that after about an hour, the seat feels like a cinder block! Hi, great choice as a "last bike". I don't own a TW but completely get what the bike is about. Modern motorcycles are far too complex, the wiring and electronics have gone far beyond what they need to be. Modern bikes have lots of fragile plastic. Nothing against plastic but it seems manufacturers are designing bikes to require lots of replacement OEM panels and electronics. TW built to be used and be repairable. I've been looking for a "last bike" also, but unfortunately I don't think they sell TW200 in UK.

@@marshallmaia8130 I think the TW would make an excellent bike for someone on a budget. It has a 1.8 gallon tank and gets about 75 mpg. Lately it is only costing me $3.00 USD to fill the tank and that takes me all over the place. I have seen some of those who take the bike on road trips and in all honesty I would love to do it as well! I want to follow I-89 here in Utah just because of how cool and scenic the countryside is following it. I apologize I didn't get back to sooner than this!

The question I get the most from people who ride my TW is "Does this thing have a rear shock?". :) Other than that, they are durable little beasts if you keep the wait off the subframe in the back. Good racks can fix that. Otherwise, these little guys are amazingly tough.

Thanks for the comment! That is a good question. I haven't had any trouble riding and climbing mountain dirt roads with me and a passenger. I am not the lighted person out there, but I haven't bottomed it out yet. I know that some companies out there make stiffer rear springs for bikes like the KLR and the DRZ, maybe I'll start doing some homework to see if someone makes one for the Tdub!
