African Lioness Aysa and her three cubs Teddi, Emi & Santa have taken their first steps on Yorkshire soil 🐾
After several weeks of rehabilitation, the raceway was opened and 4 cautious Lions took their first steps onto Lion Country 🦁 For the 3 cubs, Teddi, Emi and Santa, this was the first time they'd felt anything but concrete under their paws 🐾

How lovely - this is the clip I've waited to see! They will love it at YWP. Good food, a beautiful enclosure to chase around in and keepers that care for them. I'm delighted that they will be happy here. Well done, YWP.

Delightful to see them enjoying themselves on grass like they should be. Teddy is bigger than his mother, I cannot tell which one is the mother the cubs have grown so fast. Teddy looks like a very handsome lion, they are all looking very healthy lets hope they have a long and joyful life at YWP.
