Yessss!!! I'm so frustrated by the defense team continuously using these pointless text messages, and his drug and alcohol use. It STILL doesn't prove he ever hit her!! They are trying hard to convince the jury that he "may have done it" while he was under the heavy influence".. Fortunately, there was Always one of JD's security/friends around. He made a lot of good points especially about when she would scream "stop hitting me" when he was 20ft away from her, unknowing that his friend was at the door witnessing the whole thing". Shows how evil and twisted she is. I would hope that one of her "close" friends gives in" and ratts her out, but then again she probably promised a lot of $$$ to them if they lied for her lol.. Evil "Amber Turd".. grrrr!!!

All I can hear and see is how Mr. Depp's personal life and privacy was utterly destroyed by Ms. Heard. I just hope Hollywood recognises this and allows him to practice his craft... Because my God, he's been brilliant and still has the wit and "air" of brilliance around him. I'd love to see him in more films where he's allowed to play roles to entertain the world and escape all this. I can't help but see a good man with personal vices (like us all), being professionally insulted due to someone else's vendetta. Ms. Heard was no victim. Just a side note in Mr. Depp's illustrious career. She won't find Mr. Depp's success. Ever. She won't find groundbreaking roles. She has just washed their personal laundry and forced Mr. Depp's hand in public in order to hurt him personally. How unnecessary and what a tragedy.

Ms. Heard knew of this, as he had admitted it long before they were a couple or married. Ms. Heard, however, has never admitted to her nature of exploiting a privately self-conscious man. A man, knowing all his vices, wanted to keep them private. She exploited his vices for her own gain (proven through her recording of private moments where she provoked him shamelessly). No regard for his public stance and persona. Mr. Depp was clearly desperate for affection, not from fans, but from a loving partner. This is not what he found in Ms. Heard. I would never attempt to associate with a woman (or man) having Mr. Depp's profile again. He has attained such a level of public veneration that he can now trust no one to keep his personal dignity intact. I both love him for his (unwitting) sacrifice and for the pain an exploitative, unsupportive "wife" has provided him.

She had a agenda from the moment she got that part in rum diaries and Johnny who’s been fighting demons from his child hood fell hook line and sinker to her. I feel for this man because we’ve all been in A relationship where we hold on despite how fucked up the relationship got and how in return how fucked up it made us. I really hope the jury get this get him and see her transparency. See her game and he wins this case. As her so well put it he lost everything the min she made them allegations and regardless is he wins this case it will stick with him to the day he dies. I rarely feel sad for people. We all have our own shit going on but this is such a out of order positron to be put in. Don’t want to jump on this eye roll bandwagon but justice for JD 👊

Wow I don’t think anyone could have said it better. I keep watching, thinking - oof Johnny this doesn’t look good for you. But also, if all my shitty texts and arguments were aired to the entire world I also wouldn’t look too good. Having relationship problems, serious drug abuse issues, and maybe even financial issues, still don’t make him a violent man - which is exactly what she accuses him of. Emotional abuse is one thing, if it’s one partner doing it to a helpless partner. But when both parties are being emotionally abusive and vulgar and ugly, there is no one to blame but both of you for staying in a toxic relationship. Still, this doesn’t make you an abuser, this makes your relationship with that person toxic. We’ve all been in relationships where at one point or another we said something to our partner that could fall under the category of “emotional abuse” considering how universal that term has become these days, and how sensitive the public has become to words. And yet even still, he maintains loving caring relationships with all his friends and people he holds dear. Love hard, fall harder. Amber should be ashamed of herself for not taking responsibility in her role in this. If anything the constant stages photos, recording, etc, Amber takes of Johnny and still never managed to get one of him being physically abusive to her is just proof that she was conniving and passive aggressively looking for ways to trip JD up. She continuously sets the trap for him to blow up at her so she can record it and the best she has is of him mumbling to himself in a drunken stupor. The man is harmless, demons as they be.

What sort of wife, records everything going on with her husband? If my husband an I have crossed words, I don’t whip out my iPhone to record. It’s like entrapment. She’s obviously setting him up.

She had everything recorded for years! Only someone who had a plan to set someone up would do this. She is vile and taunts him in the video clips with his favourite mug. She knows what she’s doing.

And then he does say it was after that whole taking off his own boots because she was phone .. there is a great channel "Surviving Narcissism" Dr Les Carter and she is the worse type, evil and vindictive. They all have a common way of being in that they come across charming and nice and then when they feel in charge, which is only that one starts explaining themselves in a disagreement with them does it come out. Tons of videos Dr Carter has. The Narcissist & The Empath oh a great one that works, "The one word Narcissists Hate (may not be hate) though it works, as far as you getting entangled in their, "me me me"& "if you if you if you"..poor Johnny he does what she feeds off of, he's one strong guy in a sense, though I wonder the after effects of this on him. ☮💖

Fun fact. It’s good manners. It comes from England in the era of the plague. People would sneeze as a result of the deadly plague, so people would say “God bless you” as they were going to die. Think…ring o ring, o roses. “Atishue, atishue….they all fall down” meaning dead! I’m thrilled for ambers attorney he’s had such a perfect pristine uneventful romantic life but 99% of the people who have listened to this case can relate to what he went through and how he expressed his sense of hurt, anger and betrayal 100%. There’s not a human being alive who’s ever been profoundly and deeply wounded by love who couldn’t relate to everything he’s said and done. Either this guy is exhaustively highlighting every bad word Johnny ever uttered for 5 years because he’s got nothing incriminating on him or he has led an extremely sheltered uncomplicated life. This lawyer has proven absolutely nothing but that Johnny is more relatable to everyday people more than ever before.

One time, I called him a very bad name, and he looked at me and began laughing. He said “how can such filth come from such a lovely woman?” Lol. And….that was the end of the argument. We don’t really argue much, but we all say things we don’t really mean. You’d have to be the perfect person, the ultimate human being, to not react negatively sometimes. It’s just life.

AH literally drove him insane. Psychological abuse can do that. I think the psychological abuse is worse than the beating. I have been through both, and the psychological trauma lasts, the bruises fade. I remember screaming, as loud as I could, into a couch cushion, because I didn’t know what else to do.

I agree and I don’t think that recording has damaged him. It’s shown how desperate/vulnerable he was and even at his very lowest, he didn’t hurt her. Why didn’t she go and get help instead of sitting there recording him? So many questions

Her transparency is so sickening it’s unreal She tries to be so intimidating whilst Johnny is on the stand. Her body language way she stands when their breaking for lunch. The way she aggressively looks over at him whilst his talking, the way she uses the pad. How all of a sudden she’s wearing glasses to view the screen and write on that bloody pad. All mind games. All traits of a abuser. I’ve been a victim of domestic abuse and she’s without doubt the abuser. It’s hard to hide that when you are indeed the abuser.

This attorney is so rude and disrespectful. I hope he is causing the jury to dislike him too.

All the texts, videos and audio yet not one single video or audio of her alleged beatings and not one photo of her alleged broken nose, lacerated lips, cuts from shattered glass, etc. Not one. No medical records or x-rays, either. She is insinuating to the jury that JD lost his job because of his drug and alcohol abuse and not her Op Ed. She is trying to set up reasonable doubt because That Is All She Has.

For example, they played for the court one minute from one of AH's "secret" recordings. But on that same audio, that JD's team will use as rebuttal, AH is heard in the background crying and saying how sorry she was that she did not mean to hurt him and she also told Jerry Judge that she herself had taken Ecstasy, Adderall, Xanax and hallucinogens. Jerry also believed that she may have been dipping into cocaine, too. On that same audio recording, Dr. Kipper states to nurse Debby that he believes that Amber did it and demanded that JD's security team remove her far, far away from JD for his own safety. And he gave AH an anti-psychotic to calm her down...and there's much more to come.

He just returned from a meeting where he was told that his previous accountant embezzled $25 million and had not paid JD's taxes for years leaving him in massive debt to the IRS. (You would be angry, too. That is a NATURAL reaction to such a situation.) AH was *purposely antagonizing him while he was in that state*...she knew exactly what she was doing...she was trying to set him up.... She was "secretly" recording him and he did not hit her. He only grabbed for her phone and she walked away with a smug smirk. She was trying to set him up. And him cutting is still not abusing her....and does not prove anything especially after she gifted him with a knife engraved with "till death" which is much more diabolical IMO. AH did not secretly record JD until they got married. She "secretly" recorded the aftermath of the incident in Australia at the BEGINNING of their marriage. And she "secretly" recorded herself violating the restraining order when she ambushed JD at his hotel in SF and tried to get him into bed, at the END of her marriage. No telling how much she secretly recorded him in between, like how she SET UP and "secretly" recorded the TMZ video clip. All of this shows a PATTERN and proves she was setting him up from the beginning. AH always kicked JD when he was down. She is just plain evil.

This lawyer continues to prove he NEVER TOUCHED HER!!

This lawyer is annoying. He is rude and patronizing and the way he says "Did I read that right" After every citation. J.D should just say "I don't know" to that. As if J.D should have the answer to that.

The one important thing I've learned from Johnny's defamation trial is do NOT text or email anyone especially when you're angry or frustarted!! Damn, man, this is harsh. Maybe I'm just a drongo but I fail to see what most of these texts have to do with the case at hand. I do realize that his texts and emails are being used in an effort to discredit him but it appears to me that her lawyer is just randomly grasping at straws. Text after text being shown but Rottenborn really goes nowhere.

Sounds like during the "cutting scene" audio recording @7:43:01 that Johnny left her side & was further away from her, so he couldn't hear what she said when she added to the audio recording, "the knife is really dull and it would be the worst thing in the world to use to cut me with". When Johnny returned, and able to hear her, she changed her script and said, "Don't you're going to hurt yourself .. please don't cut yourself, etc". If she had *any* fear for herself, she wouldn't be so quickly repeating the same mantra she had earlier, "please don't cut yourself" as many times as she had before. It was only during that short interval, when he was away, that she once said "..the word thing in the world..." statement. The audio confirmation that he was away from her side was the sound of his cough, in what sounded like it echoed against the tiles typically found in bathrooms. After he returned, the resumed the oft repeated "please don't cut YOURSELF". Both her acting and script are lacking in believability. This is only compounded by the fact she knowingly taped this exchange which we hear now. I hope the jury, Johnny and his lawyers can hear what I do. It is beyond despicable that Mr. Rottenborn, so aptly named, presented this taping just before a long weekend break when Johnny is instructed that he may not consult with friends, relatives, etc or even his own lawyers about this testimony. It's particularly cruel given that he is a recovering addict and may very well likely tip him back into old habits. Perhaps another tactic to make him less lucid and sympathetic when when trial continues. Ugh!

I'm so lost and confused with texts from different dates AH lawyers keeps going to the oldest text to latest back to oldest like what's his point? He's all over the place.

People are facing abuse and domestic violence every second in every part of the world. Most can't even raise their voice. Some try to convince juries and people around them. Then some people like this Amber person comes and lies, and she does it quite dirty. In Turkish we say "hakkına girmek" meaning stealing someone's rights. She not only steals JD's right but also all these people who really suffers. Shameful.

It’s only going to show that JD uses word salad to vent any frustration he had with AH. His false confidence is also incredibly unlikable, and if the jury doesn’t like the attorney, they can sometimes bias themselves subconsciously to sway to the other side. If you don’t like him, and I don’t like him….my bet is the jury doesn’t like him either.

I cringed so much watching this. If I paid that much for a lawyer and he wasn’t prepared on the basics (such as time zones) to back up his argument, I’d be livid. She’s throwing her money away.

Sad. I agree I don’t see any beauty of her exterior. The ugliness oozes out of her especially when she’s so conniving vindictive and so transparent.

This is like a teenage melodrama. A gothically inspired Romeo and Juliet gone bad with a jaded form of sacrifice thrown into the mix. “Don’t cut yourself with the knife.” Amber says. She gave him the knife with the inscription “Till death do us part.” What did she expect? Lol It was almost an invitation to cut himself. I think there’s anger and abuse on both sides, but I think Johnny entered into the marriage with a massive crush, but Amber seems to have entered into it with documentation on her mind. She took notes like a court reporter from early on which tells me her motive was not intrinsically pure, but with premeditated knowledge that one day their union would come to an end, and she needed ammunition to be the victor in court one day so she took it. The photo with the ice cream is pathetic. It's like taking a sacrilegious photo of the dead. If she really loved him she would have moved his legs out from under him when he was in that terrible position that was cutting off his circulation, but no, it was the photo she wanted. She didn't care about his physical well-being. It was a total set-up along with the rest of her orchestrated videos. How did she obtain all of those emails from his personal assistants, etc.? Did she hack his computer? Johnny didn’t go for a prenup because he was in love. It appears Amber started to document early on. As an ambitious actress wanting her career to rise she saw Johnny as her mega-stepping stone. He’s a Gemini and she’s a Taurus it wasn't a good match from the start.

I use words to express myself in strange ways sometimes too. People who know me, understand that. I’m artistic, and I sometimes believe I’m a little strange to others, but not in an intimidating manner….just different. Any time you fall out with someone, you are causing some form of psychological trauma, if it becomes an angry argument. Physically putting hands on someone is a different story. I think it’s fairly obvious that AH was the hands on type of woman, and if JD defended himself, I don’t blame him. If I were to punch my husband in the face….I wouldn’t blame him for grabbing me to restrain me, or doing SOMETHING to defend himself. I don’t think he would hit me, but why should a man subject himself to a bashing, because it’s a woman doing the bashing? And, who whips out their phone, every time their husband is in a vulnerable position, going so far as to stage the picture? It’s incredibly cruel to take such advantage. She did not love him. He was obviously infatuated with her. Very sad. 🌸

I'm a bit quirky too so don't feel alone in it. Lol I wouldn't put up with a guy who was physically abusive for one second. Not because I'm not long-suffering but because I wouldn't be able to physically withstand it. Verbal abuse is bad enough. The other case in England was Depp suing the tabloid The Sun who labelled him a wife beater, they won along with her testimony of some BS. She was actually eating chocolate while under questioning that's how a joke the British Justice system is. Body language experts even said she's eating to hide her lies and to try to change her body language. But he lost this is another case from Depp on that subject in the US. He wants $40 million+ yet she's counter suing for $78 million ironic isn't it, seems the cats out the bag on what she really is after money and to destroy someone who had it all. And isn't ironic that during all this his so called friends are nowhere to be seen I hope he wins but it sounds like no one will in the end

The way he downplays his own abuse is heartbreaking...he makes it seem like it was "no big deal" but he is clearly timid and shy for a reason. Shoot, I still have visions of being hit in the face when I say something I feel like I shouldn't have or could be taken offensively, yet my husband has never raised his hand to me in anger...parents smacking you in the face over misused words is harsh. I haven't been hit by them in over 15 years yet I still get PTSD around my husband and no one else. I must really respect him and his opinion of my words. That's the only way I can make sense of it, really...

I surely hope Mr. Depp's lawyers present the relevant research studies showing that aggression in chronic marijuana users and opiates is incredibly rare. Alcohol and most other drugs, yes. If marijuana and/or opiates are in the system, the likelihood of subsequent aggression radically decreases.

@@muncangel5993 When men have broken hearts, they often talk really bad with their male friends. It’s a way of getting over their pain. He also gets mad like a child, and throws temper tantrums. That’s all I’ve seen so far. I believe he defended himself from her by restraining her, and she hurt herself in the process. Her own sister talked about fights with Amber, and the recordings are very clear that Amber was setting him up.

Self harm is not something that should be used against someone. They’re obviously in bed together, in what most consider a very intimate and private moment, and she’s RECORDING HIM! Johnny was obviously shocked, and hurt, by the photos he was unaware of. Amber was obviously setting him up. I'm confident that when it's her time to get a taste of her own medicine, JD's Attorney's will be prepared to put her in her place, and she will once and for all be exposed as the Abuser. None of the defense questions prove a dam thing. Yes he drank, yes he used drugs, but still doesn't prove he EVER hit her. She's a manipulative narcissistic liar and I also hope JD'S Attorney's treat HER the way this AH attorney of hers has treated Johnny. Her karma is yet to come!!

Amber lawyers keep talking about his drug use. The truth here is is his drug use has nothing to do with beating up on women. All through every relationship in his life he has never beat a woman. The Prosecutors have no case. She violent agressor and he is dependent on medication.
