This song would perfectly match final Boss fight and would be one of the most epic endings in game industry.

If you add it to the steam music player, you can totally just play it over the actual final boss!

for some reason this version of the song in this particular fight is better compared to the ost verison released that I've found on youtube. Like, the mixing is a lot better here and is waaay more clearer than the ost version.

I got to be honest, never much cared for these songs much till Now. These Versions are something else, would love to hear a new arrangement of the Star Spangled banner as well.

The vocalist, joshua james, has plenty of covers of similar songs, some Christmas ones and more classically patriotic ones, equally intense imo

I had a funny bug in this part of the game where Cordite for some reason didn't attack the door, stayed trapped in the room, crawled into a corner and kept defending each turn, but still went on with his macho lines :D

Amazing work for the theme, exactly what I searched for, although I personally wonder if the OP has actually played this game before, some extreme noob mistakes being used, and some extremely easy difficulty.

@@Sponged_ 90% sure that's the "Mega Scope" you can steal from Quarex's museum in the Bizarre. It's a sniper with penetrating splash damage. Sadly I found it not super useful- not only was it quickly outclassed in damage, I often found that since it does penetrating damage in a line, planning shots was more difficult than just using a normal sniper. Definitely looks cool though!

What are you, some twelve year old who likes to insult videos for fun? "Garbage. Weak." The video was posted to showcase the version of the song used in game instead of the ost version, since the two are mixed differently. He changed the gameplay so it would be easier to hear. That's also why he takes longer instead of ending the battle quickly. Besides, only pathetic try hards care if someone else is playing on easy mode or not.

I don't get your point. This fight is fairly trivial on any difficulty because it's just a handful of mercs, and you have good options for cover.

@@DommHavai It's not about the fight. It's about what you're doing. You're storming a hidden Bunker to FREE a slaver. The original Battle Hymn of the Republic was made by someone who saw Union troops marching through their town to go off to fight and KILL slavers (The Confederacy). The song is both ironic and poignant because Cordite is an unrepentant slaver who effectively considers himself a God. Being a difficult fight isn't the only thing that can make a fight meaningful.... come on guys

I am probably in the minority, but I have never been more ashamed then when hearing this basterdization of the Battle Hymn, if this were to happen to Amazing Grace, I will lose all love for America and her people, My family, from the fields of Bull Hill to the mountains of Germany, from the harsh jungles of Vietnam to the extreme heat of the deserts of the Middle East, all whom died or survived, and those who lost mind and body, all weep in the knowledge that the America we live in now would willingly destroy one of the most important songs, the song that made America more than our Anthem, was brutalized in this manner.

Brutalized ? I find this one far far more adapted to the harshness of war and the sacrifice it demands than those highpitched versions sung by old Mormons in churches or even army choirs in clean uniform. For fuck sake, this is not a church song, even though God is praised. In the game the song is perfect, but if it was sung as a tribute for soldiers dead in modern wars, it wouldn't be a show of disrespect. But i can understrand your point of view when you mention the jungles of Vietnam or the deserts of the Middle East, aka places Yankies should never have been :p

@@robindgbt8601 what are you saying, the song was made by a bunch of Union and Confederate soldiers, and when a woman heard them singing this marching song, she made the instrumental, this song was made by the men who served in battle, as a cry to god to show them the path forward and onto glory, it wasn't about the country or the church, this here shit remix pisses on the legacy of men whom believed they were doing the right thing because of the church, country, schools, and rights told them to. The men who made this song originally did so without instruments, and in a post-apocalyptic game, there should be none, but they gave it some digital overhaul like the song as it is wasn't worthy, as if those who fought and died under this very song weren't even thought of. This is not a choir song for screeching children or mormons, this is not a modern song to toy with, this is our men and women in the armed forces, whether they are here in home, or deployed by the goverent to fight some bullshit war over oil, this is for those whom sacrificed everything, this is for the people who protect our families and homes, not a video game, and not like this. Anyone who thinks me wrong, just look it up, Battle Hymn of the Republic and Battle Hymn of the Confederacy, both sung for the rights of the citizen and their protection (except the confederate one, slavery is bad, no one can say otherwise). It's why I said i am in the minority, I knew America doesn't remember her past.

@@jessequillen4695 I still can't see why this song wouldn't fit a post-apocalyptic USA, where men & women try to fight and build anew their country. What is different from the wars you mentionned ? The purpose is the same. And the style (and tune) adaptation is a perfect artistic touch fitting the ambiance.
