Vegeta is wasted potential especially in DBZ. He got bodied in DBZ in the cell saga. He got the power up from Badibi and gave us Majin Vegeta. Yet, he was wasted by getting clapped by Kid Buu. Not to mention, he never defeats a main villain in the series.

Gara should be there with rock lee , after the time skip gara had almost no screen time after the first arc which he got captured without doing anything ( I know he was defending the village) then didn't make an appearance for like 300 episodes or so just to be totally useless in the war arc with no feats what's so ever , the show focused too much on sasuke and Naruto giving theme more power ups but the author forgot the goat , he was a freaking monster in Naruto s1 everytime he appeared there I had chills

Very unpopular opinion but eizen from hells paradise got his wings plucked before he could even attempt to fly. Like his introduction was nice. His design was dope. he was apart of an elite execution squad and he didn't even make it past episode 3 like bro had massive potential and not a single drop was explored of it.

Sorry bro but Gohan isn't wasted potential. His character and how he is written from the beginning of the series was the worthy of being the MC. Toriyama (the goat) wanted him yo be the MC but realised that Gohan probably needed a few more arcs before officially becoming the MC. but considering what toriyama did during the Buu Saga he probably just having too much fun. And had to bring back Goku and Vegeta and Gohan lost to Buu. But now Gohan can be Gohan without being the MC. I would call his case more not living up to what people even toriyama excepting him to be. Not wasted potential

Gohan being called "wasted potential" literally goes against his entire character AND people were literally complaining that they DID NOT want him as the MC at the beginning of the Buu arc anyways. Gohan NEVER wanted to fight but he was only willing to do so because the situation required him to. This is literally brought up VERBATIM to us and Goku by Piccolo in the final Cell fights because Goku KNEW Gohan had more power and potential than himself, but Gohan did not possess the same mindset. Plus Gohan had no need to become the "main fighter" or part of the main fighting force because Goku and Vegeta were always ready and willing to take that role themselves so Gohan got the chance to become a scholar which is literally mentioned after the Future Trunks Saga (DBS) where Future Trunks mentions it to himself how it's nice to see Gohan got his dream. This is cleared up AGAIN in the DBS Super Heroes movie where Gohan says that he has been training a bit on top of being a scholar which is perfect as we lead into the final parts of DBS and go towards the End of Z. Gohan was written to be this way from the very start because of his personality and the fact that he has literally always been forced to fight throughout every arc. The only time he ever wanted to fight other than when things went to hell was when he wanted to do the world tournament. Megumi was literally written to be used almost from the very start of JJK by the world. JJK itself often takes dark reflections of common shounen tropes and literally took the "perfect potential deuteragonist" trope like we see with Sasuke but then corrupts that with Sukuna. Who exists in JJK almost like a cancer as he and Kenjaku have literally derailed the story away from Yuta, the original protagonist, and the two ancient sorcerers have caused the entire world to become corrupted in a sense because of the whims that Sukuna and Kenjaku have. As for Rock Lee he was straight up wasted potential just like Neji. I cannot defend that man.
