He actually made a new version and played it live at Sana duri in Gothenburg, Sweden in May 2023. I was there. It was amazing. When I want to hear it I just play back from my videos on my phone. I just wish I had a clear audio hifi quality.

This song is me and my eldest child, but maternally rather than romantic. I cry every time I hear it. I adopted her when she was already a young adult and had been through so much pain. Done my best to be her guardian angel and she's saved me as well, Mi Angelité, so "I'll fly with you" holds special meaning. The whole song does. A lot of late night talks in the kitchen o er the years, and other times too, both remote and in person. I love her as much as if I had carried her myself. It's a very deep and special bond. Unconditional love and the constant reassurance that whatever she's facing, we can get through it together. She's not alone anymore. And I'll do my best to make sure I'm there for her in the next life too. 🥹🥰💜
