Around 4,000 tons of used tires are processed every year - from the smallest wheelbarrow tires to the largest construction machinery tires. The C-cutting system of the XR3000C mobil-e shreds used tires in a 1-stage process to a fraction size of approx. 50 mm. The throughput rate is approx. 4.5-7 tons per hour. The metal parts are removed from the starting material by means of a magnetic separator above the discharge conveyor belt. The shredded material is then processed for the secondary fuel market (RDF) and the pyrolysis process. Thanks to the electric drive, the shredder is also much quieter than other models.
