I almost cried listening to this song just because it brought back a lot of memories-both sweet and otherwise, as well as a feeling of nostalgia, the yearning for the past as we used to know our great fatherland, NAIJA. It seems all we have now are just memories-and when our generations too pass to the great beyond, only songs like this will keep our memories alive. I’m happy that I was part of that superior b4 the current wishy washy of today.

Honestly, KWAM, I am really happy for you. From Grass to Grace. I remembered when I completed my secondary sch. In Akoka-Yaba. This is what we used to dance then, " Talazo la o maa Jo". Mayeegun, we need more of this type of Fuji. Honestly, I love ur music.

Fela expanded Afro beats, but how many other countries have Afro beats artiste? Fuji is indeginous, even if foriegners listen to it, they cannot understand it, except u sing it in either english, french or spanish. They might dance to it, but they wouldnt know what they are dancing to
