Robert Brophy, MD, chief of sports medicine and a professor of orthopedic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, talks about his - and WashU Orthopedics' - role with Major League Soccer expansion club St. Louis CITY Soccer Club (SC). The club's official team doctors are physicians with WashU Orthopedics, and partner BJC HealthCare is the team’s medical services provider. Brophy, a former college and pro soccer player, is the team's medical director and head orthopedic surgeon.
