While Washington Dulles Airport deserves a full report about its facilities, this video shows only one very special feature which makes using this airport very unique. This feature is certainly very much the opposite of seamless modern transport design, it is something worth having done before it is gone for good one day. I just would not want to do it all the time if I were a frequent user of this airport...

the vehicles are called “mobile Lounges” the mobile lounges were designed for the airport back then the concept of Dulles was to have all customers depart from the main terminal, and aircraft park away from the building.the flight would boarding into the mobile lounge and the passengers would be transported to the aircraft without having to walk for miles. the concept failed for obsvious reasons, and now the only use for the mobile lounges is for international arrivals and for traversing between the concourses.
