I love the fact that you did this. Too many people hop in a new car put the ac on set the cruise and hold the steering wheel for thousands of miles while in a nice quiet environment to listen to music and chat with others in the car with. Or they take the super easy rout and jump on a plane. I did recently go from the midwest to nj in my 86 d100 and it was alot of fun but man the people out east do not know how to drive. I never want to go back ever again but im already trying to find an od trans for the trip next year lol.

Absolutely loved this video! So many places visited I'm familiar with. Pigeon Forge is one of my get away spots. Ashville is only 90 minutes from where I live. Been visiting the Jamestown/Williamsburg area since I was a kid. Been through DC more times than I care to remember. Philly is close to where to where I grew up. Then when they crossed into NJ in West Trenton they were 10 minutes from where I live before moving south. What a great trip to take Henry on I'm looking forward to doing something similar with my grandson soon.

Unfortunately the prior owner (Non-US people) sold off absolutely everything of value inside and it’s badly rusted. The monthly dock rent is eating up all of the donations as they come in. It’s actually facing eviction in court. It will Likely just rot for another 5-10 years before being scrapped 🤷‍♂️

You past within 20 min of me. Should have tried to spend more time in NH. You would have loved traveling uo RT1 along the coast, Hampton and Rye beaches. It's such a beautiful state. I escaped from MA 15yrs ago. I wouldn't live anywhere else. The most free state in New England. No helmet or seatbelt laws, Constitutional Carry, right to self defense, no income or sales tax, beautiful beaches and mountains. NH has everything, but I'm biased.😊

We would have loved to have more time to spend everywhere! And I hope to do so, some day. (I'm saving up again, but it takes a while.) In all, we visited 32 states and DC, if I counted right, and logged roughly 8700 miles. To do all that, we had 3 weeks plus 3 days. We had a couple of "must" dates--being in a good place for the eclipse, and then attending the Coffee & Cars in Plymouth (which we really wanted to do after hearing about it). And of course, the biggest "must" when we had to be home. We made them all! And we had built extra time into our schedule--but we had to spent those days in SLC fixing the issues with the car. (I told him we needed a shakedown cruise with the thing before heading cross country--but we ran out of time for that, too!) Anyway, I grew up in Oregon, and we don't have sales tax there, either. That was the hardest thing to get used to here (and still is). But I'd love to spend more time in NH--Live Free or Die, right?
