This is one of the most memorable and inspiring oral histories I've seen. Perhaps because it is so short we hear the points he wanted to make while seeing their illustration on the screen. A truly remarkable man. I met him at Asbury United Methodist Church where he encouraged me to take on a role in one of the homeless-serving ministries he supported for many years and may indeed have helped start. My regret is that I did not take the opportunity to appreciate his art: I am grateful for the Museum Collection. Rest in peace Ira. Pandit Wright
He was such a kind, sweet, talented man. I wish I had had spent more time in his company. RIP
What a nice permanent record of Ira's Legacy. It was a privilege to know him. May he now rest in the arms of the Angels. Love, Lisa Duperier
