As a neutral observer, Pittsburgh fans shouldn't really be worried you guys are obviously gonna win this series (what team goes down 0-2 with home ice advantage and comes back to win? Certainly not the chronic playoff-choking Capitals). Holtby is shaky af this postseason so even if Crosby is out for the rest of the series Pens should still take it comfortably in 5-6 games.

Judging by how the Pens played in game 6 it is compleatly possible they will lose. I am a Penguins fan and it was painful to see them just give up they way they did.

Niskanen intended to hurt Crosby. He saw he was falling and immeditly pulled his stick up and thrust it out. He should be suspended for a game or two but because he kept his head up and stared off into the crowd it was an "accedent".

Sure the Nisky hit to the HEAD may not have been his intention, but he's been crosschecking Crosby from behind all series and I guarantee he was lining him up for another one, so I still say some blame falls on Niskanen.

Well since I'm going to be the only one posting a legitimate comment on this video let's see the hate I get for it. I can say from being personally a ref myself that this ref made the right call for the situation, after further slow motion replay though, niskanin (forgot how to spell his name sorry guys) should be given less as he never really tried to injure Crosby. But ovechkin should be given a much more then niskanin as he made no attempt to play the body or puck and instead slashed Crosby in the back and head. Let's please have a civil conversation/argument instead of biased based comments.

Depends what the injury is I think. If it's a facial fracture or a concussion I'd take it easy for a few days at least. And don't they have precautionary rules for head injuries in the NHL?

Penguins are so much better lmao they target Crosby and still can barely win the game. Not to mention Letang isn't playing either.

I'm a penguins fan and I am thinking that it will be Ottowa vs. Capitals then it will be Oilers vs. Ottowa for the Cup. They want to give Canada the cup cause no Canadian team made it to the Finals last year.

when our best player was out and they had 2 minutes left till the shutout and they blow a 2 goal lead to go to overtime. When Cullen was on a shorthanded breakaway there should have been a hooking penalty just like the penalty on Daley at the end

There goes the NHL over reacting when a star gets hurt... i have no idea why that was even a penalty. crosbaby literally fell into Niskanen's stick... he wasn't even going for the check. Against another play that's 2 minutes guaranteed. If it were against Perry they'd give HIM 2 for embellishment.

DucksFanSinceBirth how about the ovechkin slash to the back of the head then he falls into niskanens crosscheck to the head? How does a person not go for the check but check anyway? Thats like saying the security guard on united wasnt trying to forcefully remove the guy but it just happened.

I have now seen that this wasn't much of a hit, but that it was enough to damage Crosby. Well the Penguins have no backbone you can't build a team around one player Malkin. I don't like them. In fact I hope the Capitals advance. They are mroe of a legitimate team. Go ahead and moan and be sour. They have a good chance I hope. I do also hope that Sid will feel better soon he's one of the few really super players on the Penguins. They have a few, but not enough. It boils down to that. Disjointed means not much a chance.

Nisky did the same thing to Number 40 Sundqrist as he was going to net last year in a game in March where it wasn't no penalty was call from official...Also game 4 last year in the playoffs Nisky hooks Carl Hagelin then Orvolv finish him into Hotlby while Carl was going to the net...this year Nisky got help Alex after he dirty cross checked Sid head then Nisky finish the dirty shit ..Nisky is a dirty player... I am glad Sid is ok , Won his cup , pray he remains healthy to get more cups and more amazing seasons. I strongly believe Pens will beat the Craps again next year in the playoffs and get another CUP....

O by the way nice swing Ovechkin maybe you would have a better chance hitting a baseball than getting a cup.
