So real honestly. But I can imagine that this song would still resonate with the internal battle of any sinner coming to terms with their existence in hell, or a living mortal pondering that eternal struggle. It’s a really nice song for that, and so beautifully different from the typical musical style of HH and HB that kinda just makes it hit different to me.

Hitting all the right religious notes, this feels hymnal and repentant and ngl it brought a tear to my eye with memories of growing up in a baptist christian church This is gospel and Broadway in a way i really hoped we'd hear more of in HH and it fits Lucifer's character so well

I summon the legend, JEREMY JORDAN. Jeremy needs to do a cover of this song. Who cares if it's official HH business or not? I just need to hear it. Caleb, you did so good working on this. Honestly, this is the best Lucifer fan song I've heard so far. This song really does a good job with Lucifer's personality. It's perfect. Well, as perfect as anything could be since nothing's perfect.

The Bible states in Matthew 6:14 (NLT ‬) “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you." After hearing this song that was made for Lucifer, is it possible that God is willing to forgive him, if Lucifer is willing to change & willing to ask for forgiveness? I'm curious if this is the kind of question that everyone is/has been wondering? Or am I just overthinking this?

Biblical lucifer? No because 1. He doesn't want to change. 2. Lucifer was never tempted. There was no outside force to make him want to sin. He did it completely out of the malice of his heart. 3. He blasphemed against the holy spirit multiple times, which is already an unforgivable sin. 4. Angels are timeless, eternal, beings. They have a much, much, MUCH higher standard than humans who in comparison are mere atoms. Alot less room for error. Hazbin hotel lucifer? Hard to say. God doesn't even exist in hazbin hotel. Biblical lucifer rebelled against God, as HH lucifer gave humans free will which is a big difference, one is going against righteousness and is pure evil, the other wanted people to be able to choose good and evil.

@@chickengod9885 Their is one thing I will say that both Hazbin Hotel's version & our reality version has in common, "No human that is alive knows for sure what is happening in the afterlife, once we die." Even with a small handful of people who have experienced death before, anything & everything in the afterlife could easily change whether anyone knows it. Now please don't get me wrong (nor am I saying your wrong) or think I'm putting reality & HH Lucifers together. The questions I asked in my 1st comment are mainly just curiosity questions, mostly on the "WHAT IF?" kind of questions. You can even throw in the TV series like "Supernatural" or "Lucifer" in for the mix too if you want, but either way, it's all curiosity. Truth or fantasy, it's just crazy thinking. Note: Whether any stories you know has Lucifer or God in it or might have both in a story that is not truly complete, give it time, "Timing" is always the key that makes/turns the story into a good/epic reading/watching.

Wow...just...wow. This is so very poignant. While I've never been able to actually watch the show properly, I know enough and I /LOVE/ the character of Lucifer. And this song...just...it's incredible. I love the themes, the lyrics, and the rise and falls of it all. Great job Caleb!

Im sorry, did Caleb just write a fire show style song about Hazbin Hotel from Lucifer's perspective no less, and include the gospel message in just enough subtlety to not be seen as twisting the show? This seems like the story someone who grew up Christian, grew to resent it because they rebelled and offered a slightly twisted idea that they saw as beautiful and were shut down. So they lived only seeing the negative in humanity's creation while doing as they wished. They grew depressed and angry and did things they regret. Now they realize they caused much pain and wish for redemption but don't quite believe it's possible for them. And maybe they had bad experiences with people who claimed to follow God, so they don't want to be associated with them. "If Heaven is these people then I don't want to sing their song" We Christians are supposed to show a taste of Heaven, but can't in our imperfection, so others get an imperfect view of what its truly supposed to be and pretty often they can't see the light because our sin tries to cover it up. White is easy to stain with crimson, right? And it's impossible to clean crimson dye from white wool with washing. That's why we need a Saviour to wash it clean. White as snow. And when He does we will never be the same.

This song hits you all the more in the feels as you look at the background image. With Lucifer desperetly trying to reach for Heaven, the shackles of Hell never allowing him to escape the infernal damnation. Its so much sad once you take a moment and realize that Lilith has been in Heaven the past 7 years. Him reaching out for Heaven isn't just earning for his old home, but for the woman that was once his most beloved.

I knew I heard him in Nerdcore somewhere, I just had to find the song. I listen to a lot. He's also in Neji's Pride. It's sung by None Like Joshua. Caleb Hyles also did a song for The Amazing Digital Circus. I'm going to go listen to it. You might like Divide Music, Rustage, Nerdout, and Fabvl. I could recommend some songs by them.
