hiiiii ! omg i missed you. I bring to you another wash day routine ! i love filming these videos for you guys ! 🤭 i got to try some cool products from a brand by the name of “OurX” and truthfully, i was blown away. my hair felt amazing ! soft, moisturized, and clean. their data is also backed by science which i love, they are really intentional with what they put in their products. the results speak for themselves ! i also tried out my new Hothead that was gifted to me as well. this is a product that I was using early on into my KZread career, but over the years it got damaged. they sent me another one and I was literally on Cloud9! when you are deep conditioning,  you want to deep condition with heat because doing so allows your cuticles to open resulting in the deep conditioner, actually getting your hair strands. thank you for supporting this work that I do. i’m a low porosity girlie myself ! i use warm water at all times to open up my cuticles to receive moisture. i trim my ends as needed (typically about every 2-3 months) ! and when it comes to growth, I always keep my hair in a protective style, which are mini twists because they’re my favorite. 💗

make sure you’re hair is moisturized, not braided too tight, and oil your scalp. that’s what i would do. 💗

corn rows are a great protective style! if i were to do corn rows, i would oil my scalp with castor oil for growth benefits.

Do you get single strand knots? I have 4c hair no matter how much i trim, stretch or moisturize those pesky knots keep forming.

yes, i do single strand knots too! since I wear my hair out so often, I also have to trim a little bit more often as well. I trim about every three months or as needed. while it is true that trimming, stretching, and moisturizing your hair can help reduce single strand knots, you also have to factor in protective styling. single strand knots form by the hair strands looping upon each other through lack of detangling, split ends, shrinking, etc. to prevent them i try to anyways have my hair in a protective style, keep up with my trims, and wear my bonnets at night. its important that your ends stay tucked away if you realllyyy want to jump in front of that problem. i hope this helped ! 🥹

That oil is honestly the truth I don’t know why I stopped using it. I started using it in high school. It’s so lightweight and softening! I’ve always wanted to try OurX maybe I’ll give it a try!
