Carib curls, those curls look lovely!! Thanks for sharing. I believe once we as Black or Mixed Women learn & enbrace our curl patterns, we will promote & encourage natural styles. You are a wonderful example of what we can do....putting aside the perms, weaves, & wigs to show our TRUE beauty. Thank you!!

I did my hair with this method about a week ago and I had he best wash and go I'd ever achieved. For me once it was FULLY dry I had to apply a light oil to my hands and go through and scrunch up my curls to break up any crunchiness from the gel and I had soft bouncy perfectly defined curls. I LOVED your hair.

@A. Grayson my hair is about 90% dried before i band it. If you band it while wet it will never dry!

At first I thought it would be too much product in my hair. But my hair soaked it up and loved it. I'm 4 days in and my hair feels so soft and it's still shining. And my scalp is not itching at all. I just love how thick and versatile the texture was and that it defied gravity!! But i've learned to love what God has specifically given me. I am just thankful for hair! XOXOXOXO

Gurl, YASSSSSS!!!!! I followed your tut and JUST finished my wash n go and CURLS R POPPIN!!!! WOO HOO! The third time is the charm. Now I just have to wait five hours to let it air dry and see what it looks like then! But at least the conditioner, oil, gel part worked. I used Loreal nourishing leave-in conditioner spray, olive oil, and eco styler pink gel - cuz i don't want stiff, crunchy hair. I can't believe it - thought I was gonna have to ditch the wash n go, but i think this is the winning combo. Next I wanna try just oil and conditioner cuz curls were poppin with just those two things - we'll see. THANK YOU for this awesomeness. And your hair is super gorgeous in this video. I LOVE IT!

My hair is very similar to yours. I have never done a wash n go only twist outs but I have this huge tube of Eco Styler Gel like what you have. I'll probably try this the weekend. but your hair turned out beautifully! I just wish i could stretch my curls about 50% more elongation. I do like a more stretched wavier look.

Gorgeous results and fairly new subbie! I will have to try out your banding method. I tend to band on hair that I am now assuming is too dry to get results like that and I have crazy shrinkage. I love using the EcoStyler Protein Gel for my wash and gos and the Olive Oil for my puffs and buns, but I think I will revisit the OIive Oil Gel for wash and gos. Thank you for sharing.

I don't normally comment on videos just watch and move on to the next but your hair is absolutely beautiful. I have senegalese twist in and when I take them out Im doing my natural wash and go again is there any tips you can give me that you do to your hair to get really good curl patterns and no frizz and shine?? My hair has loose curls from heat damage and I'm slowly but surely transitioning back to healthy hair.
