Jjf deeper+longer barrels+more off rail ride time. Slater had nice waves but ALL were only short time barrels. JJF a clear winner but Slater made it a nice heat between the two. JJF has had far more worst differentials that he win by a landslide. At least this heat was closer to subjectivity and one can say ok, whatever, Slater was close enough because other heats in JJF's career have not been remotely close with JJF on the losing end.

JJF starting wave was better than slaters tho

Florence should have won that heat. I don't know why Kelly keeps getting special treatment from the judges, and why he even got the wildcard -,-

kelly dropped into that 10 without grabbing rail. that was the main difference that gave him the edge
