It has happened to me Kyle, went to Norwich one Saturday and the 37s never moved. But this was my last car trip and it payed off. Thanks Kyle for you comment. Regards Mike.

Yes I will miss them in Norfolk but not the 300 plus miles round trip it was for me.

Well Keith it’s a long way to go for me having to start off at four in the morning, so I was very pleased they worked on this day, as the next day they didn’t work. So if I go again it will be by train.

You’re trip to Norfolk was certainly worthwhile,there’s some fine shots there Mike. The 37’s look absolutely immaculate.

Yes it was definitely my last car trip as I’m putting to many miles on the car this year Bryan. The problem is now which has already happened to me is there is no guarantee they will be working when you get there. But thanks very much for watching. Regards Mike.

My son Josh was very lucky as he went yesterday (sat 14 sep) and managed to get 2 return trips on the Werry Lines from Lowestoft to Norwich behind Avro Vulcan & Lord Hinton. He actually went down to Suffolk to go on a tour around 1 of the old signal boxes before they go out of service with the new signalling.

Hi Mike, lovely video, as usual..I saw them at Yarmouth today (lord hinton) + (avro vulcan), used a new phone to filmed and realised too large I was filming when I thought I had stopped and was not filming when I thought I was..getting Old..all ruined..

Nice video, I hope it wasn't the last time! Any chance they'll be running in December? That's when I'm next visiting. If not then I managed to get a nice shot of what was the last time I'll ever have seen one, wgen I was there a few weeks ago - Avro Vulcan and Lord Hinton thrashing out of Lingwood with a tone, dissappearing into the sunset!

The class 37s are slowly being done away for scrap this year and next which is a pity as they are good work horses on the railway

Bob I’ve had some fantastic days, but also some disappointments when I’ve travelled all that way and they haven’t moved. So this last car trip was a bonus for me when they started working from 08.30. So pleased you enjoyed this special video Bob. regards Mike.

Why is there 2 37s top and tailing 2 carriages and both are powered up? Sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Why insult the 37s top and tailing 2 coaches,they where built for better operations than that.

david jones it’s not an insult, they have to maintain the same diagram as the units they are standing in for, therefore two locos are used for the acceleration between stations and also to negate the need to do loco run rounds at the end of each journey.
