The FH4 map is more technical, and the game in general didn't suffer from as many bugs and glitches as FH5. It's amazing how many players you have in these matches. The last time I checked there were only about 15-20 players in the FH4 Eliminator. Maybe I need to check again 😄

I’ve been playing FH4 a fair bit in recent times as well and dearly miss the game. Very hard to bring myself to playing it again though as it just feels completely dead when I play in online lobbies or the eliminator. Way harder to win in FH4 due to the technicality aspect and a lot of bad cars that aren’t even half decent compared to the mini which is by far better than our beetle in FH5. This game hits so hard though every time I come back and play it for whatever reason!

The unbreakable guard rails on the bridges in FH4 gave a certain amount of strategic planning to races compared to FH5. Also, the Supra is utter trash off road. Also, also, the RS6 is a level 6 car (I think) in this game instead of a level 2 in FH5. Your comment about SUVs being good is pretty accurate, unless you get the level 8 Deberti Jeep, which has trash suspension tuning. All things considered, I would usually keep the Mini if I found any drops under level 5, or beat anyone who had something under level 5. The maneuverability through the forest was key.

I much preferred the fh4 eliminator. You actually had to use the roads unlike fh5 where it's always driving straight as the finish

FH5 map is very big but empty, due to this Eliminator feels very boring.

I love FH4, especially Eliminator on it. FH5 has been really dissapointing to me.

I really miss the enthusiastic announcer at the beginning of fh4.

The thing about "so many more areas where you crash into things" is that's what makes it better. There's strategy to how you approach it so you DON'T crash into those spots. It's like if every other race in 5 was through one of the ruins or on the other side of the lake. Yes there's spots that's similar to 4, but the majority of the time you're just driving through a field at full speed. It's mind numbing.

Honestly I really think that FH4 has a more fun and more challenging eliminator than FH5 does.

I've had the same problem but then i realized i changed my microsoft password and when logged off and on again in the game it worked.

Weird, I am also playing on the PC and it never once crashed on me, albeit I am playing on Steam (my country doesn't have Xbox coverage)

I recently went back to playing FH4. FH5 got boring way too fast. Only thing better is the visuals and some of the custom maps.

I love this game

How do you even play? All the online stuff is greyed out for me... I mean, it said they would be ending support or whatever, but all the weekly stuff would still be available, but for me, it never was. No Forza shop, no nothing. I had a ton of unclaimed cars, too. Everything just says, "That feature not available, try again later" or something. That's why I started playing 5.

I've never gotten above level 4 in the eliminator car rng. People will have a Bugatti 60 seconds in, meanwhile im stuck with a crown Victoria. This game sucks

FH4 Eliminator far superior to FH5. Map is more interesting and just looks better.

I mean I love fh5 but it's been so dry (no pun intended) compared to this one like the eliminator on here is much more strategy based instead of car go vroom in straight line. I mean yeah they both started off buggy but man horizon 4 is just a much better game at this point. I mean yeah 5 has hot wheels but the hype kinda died very quickly.

@@TandemSix Ah apologies, thought you were fishing for a bite! FH4 to me was a better game by far, good map with no boring areas in it, playground games areas such as the rail yard or the quarry were brilliant as the current areas in FH5 are truly awful. Cant handle that jungle anymore either, complete waste of area and the cars in the eliminator are woeful, give me FH4 any day of the week

@@leethemackem bulls eye, FH4's map is so much more imersive in my opinion, it feels real, the big forest, Edinburgh, the small paths through the forest, the hills, the wind turbines, the weather, you name it, hands down better than the dry Mexico. Not to mention than in FH you have the 6x6 in the eliminator and the rally taxi, quartz regalia is a no brainer. I wouldn't trade my FH4 ultimate edition for FH5 ultimate edition even if I had it for free. This may be my bias for cold and rainy zones, but FH4 is so much better
